Hopefully you're smart and literate enough to read Calvin's commentaries...

well after reading some, i find that it is surprisingly easy to read. Much easier than Jonathan Edwards.

Yeah it is. I think it may help that it was probably translated into English in a time far after Edwards.

Calvin was French, and wrote his commentaries in French or Latin. They were translated about 100 years ago, I think.

Edwards was an American from 250 years ago, and nobody has updated his works into modern language.

I've heard the Reformation/Geneva study Bible is pretty good.

Are you talking big commentaries or small?

And if you are looking for a bad reformed commentary, I think Ryrie was a Calvinist.

In all fairness, we would have said it if the tables were turned.

I realize this. A looong while ago, it was sort of an inside joke between me and (Soccer)Aaron that Arminians had big noses. Why I felt it appropriate to use an inside joke when the only other person inside of the joke was not active in the thread, I really don't know. YooHoo tends to affect my judgement skills.
