I have an excellent book called Bibilical lovemaking-- a study of the song of solomon. If written in mopdern english it would pop the vericose veins of some senior saints.

BTW Israel is never referred to as the Bride of Jehovah. Israel was and is called the wife of Jehovah. While that may seem an argumewnt in semantics there is a big big difference ini the mindset of the writers f Scripture.

Of course I' right. We get a hymn from it, after all.

Plus, I think the majority of interpreter's throughout history have taken that view, though I'm not positive.
