| Congregationalists? Are Congregationalists in any way related to the Episcopal church, or am I going crazy?

| The Congregationalists split off from Roman Catholocism 72 years after the Anglicans did.

| Gotcha. Thanks, fellas.
That said, I visited a Congregational church a couple months ago, and thought it was a little off...but that's okay.

| Some Congregationalists are Universalists, and I believe the UUs came from Congregationalists...so that should give you a clue. There are still Reformed Congregationalists, however...a pastor friend of ours just took up a pastorate at a Congregational church in Maine (he was OPC)...

| Yeah, they are basically like us baptists: they take church autonomy way too far.

| Well, this place wasn't terribly Reformed, as far as I could tell. They did sing "The Church's One Foundation".
If you're wondering which church, it was the first Christian church to ever be established in the state of Hawaii. Pretty cool. All the priests/ministers wore leis and stuff.

May it never be.
Wait, what am I saying? After the super-arminian sermon last weekend, I considering attending a presbyterian church the next 4 years. *sigh*
