| crossing the threashhold of my big blue backyard i guess i will make up one of these journals that everyone is talking about. and since i have nothing better to do, i guess its all good.
today i went to the secretary of states office to get my drivers permit (yep. not quite old enough to really drive). we were waiting a long time so i decided to go next door and look for some magazines to buy. the only magazines i found were playboy and that stunk so i asked the guy if he had any decent magazines. nope.
i went back and was ready to apply for the permit. all good. then they had to check my eyes. i dont wear glasses and only need them to drive at night (which im not doing yet) so i thought id be okay. but the eye checker thingy was one of those things that is illuminated, like an overhead, so i couldnt read any of it- totally failed the test.
luckily, they pulled out a normal one and i could read it, even though it was smaller than the other.
that was my day.
peace to all

| (still bored) i am 15 and love to play the guitar. i have been permanently "borrowing" my friends guitar for a long time and have been teaching myself to play it. i also play the piano (6 years) and the drums (3 years) and the trombone (4 years). so as you can see i like music. i used to want to major in it, but now i want to be an english teacher in a poor area, so i can help others who have nothing going for them. oh yeah. I am a hardcore pro-lifer! |

| i am taking logic now from my favorite teacher! very exciting for me. i am also working on my music ministry. i go to an all girls Catholic school (im Catholic too) and i am using Christian punk, hardcore, metal, ska, and alternative music to reach out to those who are lost. i have a big collection of music. if anyone has a good place to buy music (cheap) or a place where tons 'o bands are listed (like punkreviews.com), let me know!

| just got back form vacation. it was very relaxing at times. we live in michigan, so we went on a road trip to washington dc. actually, i shouldn't call it that, because it really wasnt but oh well. we went up to the thumb of michigan before we left, since we are going to buy a cottage on lake huron the drive out to dc was amazing. the mountains were beautiful and really got me thinking about God and all His greatness, beauty, and glory. i also got to listen to a lot of music. pretty nice.
dc had good weather and we went about everywhere in 3 days. my feet killed me, but hey. the sites were nice, but there is only so long that you can look at the washington monument. our hotel was bad. bad beds. bad bathroom. bad coffee. bad breakfast (since there wasn't any). bad shuttle service that picked you up an hour too late. bad bad bad. on the way home, we stopped to see family in maryland and went swimming in their pool (which was soooo nice for a change). then we stayed in a very nice hotel. nice beds. nice bathroom. the best ever breakfast with everything you could imagine!!
then we went to pennsylvania to see more family and we stayed there for a few days and bought chocolate and went to horse races. \
then we came home and i went to one of my best friend's graduation. lots of fun. i am gonna miss her so much
random fact- my feet are a size 8 1/2, not that anyone cares. |

| i was over at my friends house the other day and we were looking through her mom's closet and we found her hippie pants! they were so great. there were a ton of patches everywhere (especially in the butt) and there were holes everywhere! she embroidered her nick name in it- pippin- and had a bunch of neato designs. so, i went home and started making mine. they are pretty nice, i would have to say |

| my hippie pants are coming along very nicely, i might add. i've been using a lot of embroidery thread to make designs on the pants. all Christian related, of course.
cool thing: we just bought a cottage on lake huron (yep, i live in a small cardboard box in the bottom of a lake in michigan). i can't wait to go up there!
just started the school year and i am finally a sophomore. nothing special. the name is just better than freshman, i guess. |

| i will try to get a pic of my hippie pants up as soon as i finish them and if i can find a digital camera that someone would be ever-so-willing to let me borrow.
labor day is today and we are having family over. my uncle few in from oregon so its nice. luckily, he is alone and didnt bring his son (my age, big jock, bad attitude) with him. but it is raining again. it wmakes me sad because it is not enough rain to run around outside in.
FUN THING: my city was affected in the huge blackout so we didnt have power or anything. on friday it rained (as you can see i thrive on rain). since it was so hot and the rain was so cold, i ran outside in my bathing suit wiht my friend. we were running all over the streets screaming "Jesus loves you" and stuff like that. we ran into a friend during our madness and she had two sleds by her. we obrrowed her sleds and took them down to the sledding hill in my neighborhood. the hill was wet and we figured we could sled down it. it dodnt work but i havent had so much fun in a long time.
