MMM coffee. Although I do not like Starbucks very much. I much more prefer Tim Horton's. Is there any Tim Horton's in the USA? Mmmm, that is good coffee!

I used to work at tim hortons, I don't actually drink coffee coffee though (i like coffee drinks), but I do know how to make it. They don't have tim hortons where I live now, the furthest south one is in KY.

Anyways, whats new lauren?

ahh...all this discussion over coffee. personally, starbucks is ok. tim hortons=very nice, though i can't say i've had their coffee. i'd imagine we have them in detroit seeing as...we're north of canada. not that it makes us special or whatever...though i'm certainly implying that, aren't i?

what is new with me? i'm writing a paper on transcendentalism...and whether or not i would consider myself an adherent to that particular philospohy. and i'd have to say not, as it seems to be a rather egocentric, selfish, heretical ideology upon further analysis. gaah! get...out...of...writing mode.

it was 55 last wednesday. about 10 on sunday. and now it's back to 50 again. my heart cannot take such...infidelity! oh, weather! make up your mind! do you want me, or not?

why, yes, my fellow comrade! when in reading a book, one cannot simply go about their usual business without recognizing and appreciating the beauty which is a book...and through this great appreciation, books need to be loved. now, whether you care to gently place a peck upon cover, kindly caress the soft pages, or playfully tickle the firm binding (it really doesn't matter what you choose to do), you must express your utmost love and dedication toward possibly the greatest innovation of all mankind: books. thus, in the faux photoshoot, some of the aforementioned actions may have taken place.

there was a scare the other day (or at least for me): my dearest brother was thought to have the chicken pox. luckily, it is merely poison sumack/posion ivy/poison oak/poison leafage...now, to avoid it!

try not to think about it, alice childress....try not to think about it anymore.

about the internet being broken. for about 4 too many weeks.
about not having a decent tortellini meal for the longest time (whoa, oh-oh...).
about getting sick just crossing the threshold of summer.

about having it just too darn good, and forgetting about those chilluns in africa, who would give an arm and a leg to have internet for an hour, a crummy pasta dinner, being well. man...my venti cinnamon dolce latte awaits...

but not really.

i'd rather have some tea. straight-up.

ah...how can i describe a 2 month hiatus from cgr?

yes...that's how to desribe it. beautiful silence.

michigan weather is doing alright now. or more like...it feels like i would imagine florida being. i woke up this morning at 8...and it's already 80 degress outside. by noon, it's hovering around 99.102...just shy of being 100. but at least it'snot freezing.

i need to update my sig and all that jazz...

I say Lauren, I think I might pick up your blog again, seeing as I have to expand my journal-reading now that I'm a blogmod. Or something.

At any rate, I'll lurk. Occasionally, if my feeble mind doesn't betray me.
