Physical Therapy

To Physical Therapists or someone who knows a lot about this subject:

What are the advantages and disadvantages to taking Physical Therapy?

Is physical therapy for childern a good idea?

How fast does recovery usually take?

I have to have this paper in by tomorrow, my professor thought it would be a nice to move the date it was due up by week!
Someone help!!

From my own experiences:
Advantages
A thorough recovery under surveillance of certified professionals
Enables patient to take recovery measures at a cautionary pace
Disadvantages
Time-consuming - I was at about four hours a week for six weeks during the busiest part of the school year
Often messes up scheduling for working people or students
Can get to be pretty expensive, depending of course on the seriousness of the case

I did PT for six weeks to build back the muscles that hold my knee in place - I dislocated it exactly a year ago - but it's still not completely recovered/equal to the muscle in my other leg.

Hope this helps.

thy mortal sorrow, and thy life's oblation;
thy death of anguish, and thy bitter passion,
for my salvation.

Therefore, kind Jesus, since I cannot pay thee,
I do adore thee, and will ever pray thee,
Think on thy pity and thy love unswerving,
not my deserving.
