Smile hello i'm new

Hi, i could help myself but to read and post up my knowledge about cymbals. The best cymbals range on different styles of playing and drum technique. For a jazz or funk sound you are going to want the Zildjian cymbals and also maybe for rock. Sabian cymbals focus on a more natural and raw sound than the zildjian, which in turn are better for anything from jazz, progressive rock, blues, metalcore, etc... Paiste cymbals, however, focus on a wide variety of drummer's techniques AND styles of music, Paiste can be used for anything and everything. You also must note that there are different series of cymbals (duh lol obviously you all know but) for each different style of music. I own zildjian K customs , sabian hand hammered, HHX, AA, paiste signature series, 2002 sound edge hat, fast crashes, the istanbul and bosphorus cymbals and some vintage zildjian avedis rides and hi hats. I love each and every one of them becasue each set off their own tone and personality of the style of music i am playing, but mainly i am a paiste guy becasue i can use them for ANYTHING!! thanks for reading, Nathan.

Same here. When I get a better drum set this summer, I'll be sure to use Zildjian for Crash and Ride Cymbals. I have 2 cymbals for my hi-hat. They really work.
