Actually, nobody has signed. They have verbally agreed. You can't sign people until Wednesday.

Even Zo verbally agreeing to sign in NJ is very surprising to me. Poor Cuban....he's pretty much out of luck now.

Nope. There are other big men in the league. Kandiman, being the most relevant example.

such dissapointed news as i got home today, concerning Mourning. I really hoped Dallas could nab him, but we've still got some good options left. Kandi is out there, Rasho is out there, there are some good bigs out there we just need to find one.

NJ still don't have a chance against the west. My VERY early prediction on the outcome of the Finals, San Antonio over NJ in 6 games. Even though SA couldn't snag Kidd, they need to resign Claxton so they can lean on him in the playoffs. Anyone agree or disagree?? GO MAVS!!! I hope that they will go all the way, but I think that in 2-3 years, they'll be a top contender.

Speedy would be good for the Spurs to re-sign, but how about Brad Miller as a big man? I hope he re-signs with my Pacers, but it looks like he's goin to Sactown for Pollard and something to with the Spurs. It should all come out in a few days.

Didn't speedy sign with Golden State yesterday? Or was that someone else?

I REALLY don't like that Brad Miller deal. Miller is a great big man, and he's not afraid of Snaq, which is great... but Pollard is my absolute favorite, and Hedo is a great bench player.

I didn't see anything on Speedy, but I hope that Miller will just sign and stay with Indiana, but if not, Pollard will be awesome for the Pacers. That does stink for Kings fans if ya'll lose both Pollard and Hedo for Bad Brad.

I don't know... Hedo and Pollard both had very very minimal roles last year... it's just... I LOVE POLLARD. Now that he'll be a starter, he will show himself as one of the best defensive centers in the game... definitely one of the top 5 in the East overall... As for Hedo... well, he has a TON of potential. It's just a matter of seeing that potential. And it kinda makes sense... this makes room for Gerald Wallace, who is developing so nicely...

Yeah, the Kings are sooo deep. My Pacers were too deep at SG because Reggie is the best ever (I am very biased, so I know that's not a worldwide opinion) so getting rid of Mercer's contract and Brad's too was a great move. I think all 3 teams got a good set up.

If you love Pollard, just become a Pacers fan! I need another one on the planet.

i think all teams involved got a good deal, but the kings couldve done just as well to *gasp* get rid of weber and keep gerald wallace around (he would start if he was in the east) and secure pollard to a long term deal, but dumping your franchise player does not always work out. Question: why is any other team even setting up to make a run this year? the lakers are a lock for the title w/ 4 hall of famers who can still play. too bad they let horry go. and dont talk to me about egos b/c all they want to do is get a ring. now setting up for 2 years later would be smart, b/c the lakers will be a mess then and the conference will be wide open.
