Smile Dance

I thought that there needed to be a forum on dance, so here it is! I do ballet, jazz, modern- anything really- with a Christian company in Florida called Mission in Motion. I also worship through dance alot at a church I go to. I do alot of pointe work, but I also dance barefoot or in sneaker or high heels...I'm just recovering from a calf injury, actually God has done some amazing healing with it. See, it happened when I was danceing in pointe at church and God was showing me how to just allow Him to work through me(it was really cool!) Alot of people were inspired by it, and Satan attacked. But some friends prayed for healing for it, and the next morning the pain had totally gone! It was awesome! So now I'm danceing once again and enjoying it even more! So all dancers, reply! ok kidding that was lame, but really- help me get this going!
Hannah

Welcome aboard, Hannah!

I myself am not much of a dancer. Heck, I can't even waltz right, and that's one of the easiest dances in the world! But I've got a few friends down in Baton Rouge who dance. They do vintage dancing: Waltzes, jitterbug, jazz, and all that fun stuff. It's cool to watch them and their co-op dance. They do some pretty intricate stuff.
Impressive stuff.

I used to be a dancer.

Ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, Irish step, lyrical. You name it. Heck, I was even a cheerleader.

Now I'm just...me. I mean, I still dance but I'm way out of shape and I have very little confidence because it was never my strongest pointe. I'm mainly a strong singer.

I dance, ballet and pointe (I guess that's an offshoot of ballet though LOL). I love it, but I'm not that great. It's fun though. I haven't really danced anywhere but in recitals and the like, but it's fun. I especially like pointe, even if it does hurt.
