| LeBron James - can he turn Cleveland around? I still am wondering if the Cavs will be able to afford to keep him...
I live in northeast Ohio and know that the only reason people go to Cavs games is to see their favorite stars on the visiting team!
Can we build it?
Yes we can!

| In short, they aren't going to the playoffs this year. He's not THAT good. Yet. Now, if Kobe comes to town next year... look out world. LeBron's got a mentor. |

| they will be better next year. especially if you can get darius miles going like his old self. you got an all star in ilgauskus, a fantastic player in ricky davis.... throw lebron in the mix and stir it up a few years and you got yourself a contender in my opinion, at least for a playoff seed |

| hey rickys got game. and yes darius has been a pretty good player. maybe not good enough for any awards or anything, but he has shown potential to be good. and ricky davis is a good player all right. he is also really fun to watch. he pulled off a triple double, and also dunked the ball over my man steve nash. he may play for a really bad team but yes he is very good. and plus if lebron james is what everyones making him to be, he doesnt need all those guys. he will need a lil help from like someone like ilgauskus, maybe carlos boozer when he gets to his potential level. and the point i was trying to make is a very possible one, that lebron james + the cavs + a few years = a turnaround for the cavaliers |

| I respectfully disagree. Kobe Bryant on the Cavs wouldn't get the past the first round. |

| Right o. THey need the hoop-it-up veteran leadership of Benj, and the soft touch in the paint of me.
Or maybe just some really good players. |

| ok, i'll quote you on that one, travis....
I don't think they'll win a championship anytime soon, but Lebron will be able to get them 10-20 more wins, which will be an improvement.

| I still say he has got a lot of proving to do before I can even accept that he's that good of a good basketball player. The difference between high school and pro is so different they are barely comparable... |

| Neither was Kobe, and it was 3 years before he was even good enough to be a starter. |

| true. but i think he could be better than kobe. you never know. it all depends on fate. for all we know he could have a career ending injury first time out. i mean how many people saw jay williams as a one and done. and now that seems to be very likely |
