All but 2 seasons since kindergarten I've worn #9. It's awesome. my in-house team this year is the Rangers, so I was watching the all star game with my Rangers shirt and hat on, and what happens? Hank Blalock hits a homer to win the game. For all of you that don't know who Hank Blalock is, he plays 3rd for the Texas Rangers and wears #9. I wore that jersey again yesterday and part of today just because of that.

Amazingly, until this year in softball, every time I had a jersey with a number, it randomly ended up being 8. This year, I got 00. I like 00, but 8 is my number.

me and my accountability partner (if you dont have one, get one) meet before every football game and tell about how our week has been goin. Usually play a game of spades w/ friends and at least try to take about a half-hour nap, or if not then just get alone and rest and think for a while. in baseball i have what some would call a lengthy pre-swing routine
