Heh, thats funny. Its like the little stuff we do in drama, that only the preformers know about.

I was in the musical Fame in high school. I ended up break dancing on stage. That was pretty tacky...

Well at church plays I've seen them stop the play and take collection. If that's not tacky what is?

I think that grabbing a microphone and farting or burping directly into it would take the cake here.

In the middle of the first song, the lead singer yelling to the sound guy, "More VOCALS IN THE MONITORS! AND GUITARS!"

Drives me up the wall.

Can anyone say "soundcheck"?

Sound techs who aren't paying attention to the stage drive me up the wall. Same with lighting techs. Venues that won't let bands use their own sound tech are seriously annoying.

On stage? Haven't really seen anything too tacky. Singing to backup trax doesn't float my boat but that's not always easily avoidable.

Agreed. One of the best things I've seen was at the House of Blues in Anaheim. The opening band got the house sound guy, but when Lifehouse came on, their own sound guy took over, and the HOB guys assisted him.
