| Beck's "Odelay". Oasis was subpar in everything but hype.

| I vote Beck. This was clearly not Oasis' best album (if Liam was on this board I would be shot...)
Now if this would have been Oasis' "What's the Story, Morning Glory" than there would be no comparison. The song "Champaign Supernova" alone would beat Beck's entire music library.
Peace.

Jay | Why does everyone say that? Definately Maybe is clearly Oasis's most important album. And besides, "Champagne Supernova" beating Beck's entire catalog? Odelay was basically some kind of weird music miracle.

| Beck's Odelay is just too original and too good. My vote is for Beck. |

| No, I agree...I voted for Odelay. I just don't think that musically speaking "What's the Story" was much better than "DM". I wasn't thinking about importance... "Champaigne Supernova" is one of my all time favorite songs!!! Beck is great, wild, wierd, wacky (I would be here all day trying to define his style or list his influences for that ablum). But in terms of pure musical ability and songwriting, Oasis is slightly more talented (IMO).
My vote still stays with Beck against "Definatley Maybe"
Peace.

| Oh wait. I didn't vote did I? Well, I vote for Odelay because I think it's the most creative album in this tournament. I don't know whether Odelay will stand the test of time, but it has a better chance of being remembered than Definately Maybe does. |
