Practice Amp

right now i want to buy something new for my guitar and i think i want a smaller amp. like in the 15 watt range. i am not sure what kind to get. i also dont really want to spend too much money on it. less than $150 would be ideal.

As I say in all the other Forums, go play a bunch of stuff in your local music shop. Find something you like and go with it. If it's out of your price range, look for it on Ebay or somewhere. Used gear isn't bad.

I've been looking at practice amps too. I've played a marshal 10-watter and a little vox thing. Neither ofthem were nearly as good as the Beringher GM110 I played. It's got 30 watts, some different amp models and actually some alright distortion. It also apears to be built well. It's got a nice power switch and doesn't have the cheap cover over the speaker. And the best thing about it is it's $100 US.

i found my marshall 15 watter for around $150 but you could find it cheaper cause the store i bought it at was overpriced
also a small crate would be a good choice. i have a sg but i've played a crappy squier strat through it and it even sounded decent.

For that price you'd get better sound quality with a peavy or a small fender than a marshall(you can get a peavey blazer 158 with distortion, reverb ,vintage and modern and vintage mode for 150€ about 150$)
