Just to clarify...you get a save op if it is within 3 runs, or you pitch three complete innings.

yeha really... a 3 hitter? nice... i think seattle has only 1 cg so far this season and it was by garcia. we've almsot had no hitters but not quite.

well how bout the M's young guy from AAA Raphael Soriano. he did the same thing to the angels yesterday, or the final game of the series. that was impressive. if he stays like that he will be a nice addition to the bullpen since kazu is out wirh cracked ribs.

i do wich nelson hadn't have blown the save tonight. Gil pitched so well but got a no decision... :ksad:

if you mean mariner then yeah he cracked his ribs. after that long road trip he was carrying his suitcases upstairs adn i guess he tripped and fell down the stairs. we dont know when he's going to be back. that's a huge hole in our bullpen as nelly and rhodes aren't typicaly closers.

Man. Both the players that you've had for your avvy recently are like senior citizens practically. Why can't you put say Garcia or Ichiro in there?

Yes. Bonds stole #500 yesterday...er, now it's day before yesterday, off Eric Gagne in the bottom of the 11th. Two batters later, he scored as the winning run.

AND TODAY! Schmidt with another gem! Second straight complete game! This one a 4 hitter. 7 hits in 18 innings in TWO GAMES! Amazing.
