Ok. I wrote this song in January on a bus in Egypt. We were watching a movie that I very much didn't want to watch.....The verses are pretty much summaries of the movie (with a couple of plays on words that I like

), and the chorus is the meaning of the song. This is a hard rock song with the verses being similar to P.O.D.'s Alive and the chorus like their The Messenjah song (that style, but different chords and stuff....ok...maybe not so similar, but those are the best songs I can think of to compare them with). The bridge is just really fast rap with blazing guitar/drums.
Dead End by Rick Morgan Verse 1:
Mass destruction--I watched 100 deaths in seconds.
The city demolished, then they started cussin’
The dudes acted cool, took it all in with smiles,
The victims all croaked and died.
Chorus 1:
Is this what they’re living for? Is there nothing better out there?
I’m telling you life needs something more; will they ever start to care?
They’re never goanna make it this way--the wages of sin is death.
Their life is slipping day by day, they’re choking off their breath.
Post Chorus 1:
They need a way out, this is just a dead end
They’re never goanna make it, unless they repent.
He who lives by the sword, by the sword will die.
Please don't destroy your life.
Verse 2:
Round 2--They’re back, people runnin’ everywhere
Only the thugs have time to shoot and to stare.
Hard core to the max, yet their inside’s hallow
They’ll burn and melt like tallow.
Bridge:
So you don't think this applies since that's not how you live your life?
Let me ask you something quickly, "Have you given it to Christ?"
That's the only thing that matters, since your righteous deeds are tattered;
If you haven't, then you'd better, or you'll perish by the letter.
Chorus 2:
Is this what you’re living for? Is there nothing better out there?
I’m telling you life needs something more; will you ever start to care?
You’re never goanna make it this way--the wages of sin is death.
Your life is slipping day by day, you’re choking off your breath.
Post Chorus 2:
You need a way out, this is just a dead end.
You’re never goanna make it, unless you repent.
He who lives by the sword, by the sword will die.
Please don't destroy your life.

I don't like the last line for the post chorus. Any ideas on how to change that? If that was fixed, I think that this would definately rise to one of my very best songs.
