i'll go on and be the odd one out in this group..no, i'm not picking 12 stones, 311, five iron or any of those bands.

my absolute favorite band whose name begins with a number is..
*drumroll please*

...100 portraits

by now you're probably scratching your heads like, "huh?? 100 portraits??" but that's right folks. 100 portraits.

if you get to hear any of their stuff i recommend checking out their 'five wise virgins' album.

90 Lb. Wuss is much better than anything listed here. They rock it crazy-like.

"continue to love me w/that same love (?righteous and and unchanging)...your love it reaches to the sky your (?) a mountain high..."
i don't know all the words...it's from psalm 36, i believe. i went to their website, but i can't navigate around it...

My friendship with [Tolken] broke down two of my former prejudices. On my first coming to this world, I was warned implicitly, never trust a Papist, and on receiving my fellowship to Magadline College, was warned explicitly, never trust a phillogist, Tolken was both.

I don't know what bubble-gum rock you are all listening to ... christian or not ... but if you're over 12, you need to check out the 77's. Maybe the best band of all time. They've got like 15 albums out, and lead singer / master stratocaster player, Michael Roe has three solos out, and I've seen them something like 20 times! This is music for grown-ups, especially those who love good guitar and not just distorted, or bands that sound 'just like so-and-so' [linkin' park, godsmack] or you fill in the blank.

77's ............ and I'm a little surprised that I was the first one to bring them up in three pages of this thread. I must be the oldest, I guess
