Influences

I would say some of my influences would be Clay Crosse, Michael English, Jonathan Pierce, Guy Penrod. You know, all those great vocalists.

Ok, this is probably a weird combination, but here's my musical influences and overall voices I admire in no particular order: Sonny Sandoval from P.O.D., Chris Rice, Mike Herrera from MxPx, the singer from Ghoti Hook, DcTalk, Nichole Nordeman, Bruce from Living Sacrifice, and the new singer from Embodyment (major influence). (I told you it's a very diverse combination!)That's about all I can think of now.

My guitar playing has been effected alot epsecaily by dave matthews band and also jars of clay, david crowder band and creed.... vocally i'd say the dude from joc (cant remember his name ah!), the guy from lifehouse, the guy from incubus, scott stapp and chris tomlin... hehe quite an assortment i guess.

I personally have my own style, I have never been inspired by the way other people sing. Nor have I tried to make my voice sound like some one else. I just sing. Some say I sound like Clay Crosse and Steve Curtis Chapman. I guess the main reason I have my own style is becuase I have done a lot of voice lessons, professional singing, and have been taught to sing "properly". I do have some what of a country twang to my voice, but that is partially becuase I am from Texas.

I do typically sing songs by Steven Curtis Chapman, Clay Crosse and Third Day, but their singing style doesn't influence mine.
