| HEY TIM! Grand to see you back... I would have so loved to come with you to ALIVE... ah. Maybe next time.
KEZ - you loopy gal. I can't believe we're missing out on Vanilla Coke day. We are gonna have to make up for it when I get back.
Yesterday, Roob and Ren called from Northern Ireland. That was way nice! It was Ewans birthday. He had all his rowdy school friends over and they thought they were so cool. They really were just painful. Oh well. The night is over. I'm not having kids for yonks!
I set up the table tennis (ping-pong for you Americans) table in the shearing shed (for the Americans: barn) and and practicing like there's no tomorrow.
Mum and I might walk along the new fence that dad's been putting through a paddock today. We'll pray over it and stuff. Should be good. Also hired lots of vids to watch also.
I don't really have much to say today except a big, fat thanks to the Big Man Upstairs for letting me survive near death on Tuesday night. The house didn't burn down (even though my dad would have loved that... seriously) and I am alive. Don't put your necklaces around double adaptors that are plugged in, okay! Like, not a good move. Lots of fire, lots of black stuff, your heart almost stops cos it's beating so fast. Luckily, I already had short hair. If I had long hair, it would have been burnt off!
So, now, I need a new silver chain for my cross pendant. Ah well. At least I'm alive.
Peace out hippies... Beans

Too bad I was blonde in the first place...
And you can never take up too much blog... It goes on forever. Another girl, Rach, on CGR has like 300 PAGES of blog. It's like God. It never ends.

| ooo horray!
YAY. I'm so stoked. All these replies - and Christop has registared! He's a friend of mine from Ballarat... well, I don't know him heaps well, but it's still awesome to see him here. (Thanks for coming Christop - stick around. It's not all boring. )
Don't stress you guys, it wasn't too bad. It was just a big bang in my face. My hair was already spiking up, but if it wasn't - after the explosion would have made it spikey... like Grandma Clampett style when she's on radiation theraphy in Beverly Hill Billies...
Anyways, the reason I hung my watch and necklace there was cos ... I just did. The adaptor was sticking out - perfect for hanging things on. I guess I really didn't think about it.
Wow. Gilbert is 190cms tall! What a giant. While little Bonnie is... (hang on, I'll just measure) .... oh a whopping .... 168cms. Ah well. It's not as if my heigh effects my ego, like it does with the boys. We have the old family measuring chart on the back of mum and dad's bedroom door. In the last 5 years, my little dashes indicating my height have practically been NEXT to each other. I think I've grown about 3cms (hardly even an inch!) in all this time. Haha! What a riot!!
Keara- Yepsie. I'm on holidays. I'm at home in Lincoln till Thursday. Then on Friday I'm flying out...
I can't really tell you much more. I'll tell you all about it after the holidays though. It's pretty secretive stuff right now. I don't know if I'll get to post much, if at all, from the 3rd till the 20 something, cos I'll be away.
Today's post post is on it's way (cos this is only a post, not the post post). Ah... yep...

| Saturday 28 June 2003 Well… what to say today!? God is cool, I know that for sure. I’m not so sure how cool my 15 year old brother Gilbert is – mystery.
Last night, I went up to Cummins (about 50kms (maybe 30 miles?) north from my house) with my cousins, Gary and Penny, and with Gilbert, to a youth group up there. Luke, who I came home with the other day, invited me. It was a murder mystery night and seeing I was “leadership age”, I helped out a friend, Kristen, who was home from uni for the holidays also. It’s really funny, and ironic really, how Kristen and I have memories of our times together and they always involve food.
Our first “food memory” is from an October Camp a couple of years ago, which we were leaders on and we started a magnificent fight with spaghetti bolognaise. We got into a lot of trouble for that one (good leadership and stuff like that…)
Our next memory is from Swot Camp last October where we were eating chocolate mousse for desert. I was just looking at it in my bowl and mentioned in passing, “I wonder what this stuff feels like on yer face.” Kristen promptly picks up my spoon, “Let’s just see.” And wallops some on my face. Thinking that that it was great fun, she covers my whole face with it. Then, a guy with a squirty bottle of whipped cream comes along and makes me look like a chocolate mousse cake.
Last night, we were manning the kitchen. The kids had to come and find the clue (a piece of paper with a letter on it – each station had one and it spelt out the name of the murderer). We realized we could give dares for the kids to do and they could get a clue. As each group came and went our ideas for our dares got better.
Being the pretty gross, not air-heady gals that we are, we put M&M’s in dish water filled with sudsy water (and the remains of what was washed off from dishes) and popcorn that hadn’t been popped. If kids could put their faces into the water and without using their hands, slurp up some M&M’s, spit them out on the sink and someone else in the group would eat them, we’d tell them who the murderer was. (It wasn’t going to be such a dead give away clue, but most of the teams already knew who the murderer was, AND (surprisingly) the groups thought the dare was most disgusting!) Ah, memories.
Mum just severed her finger with a knife. Don’t worry. She’s okay. I sewed the finger back on with fishing line and put a bit of salt on the wound. Should repair quite nice.
Well, enough of the fun.
Kez said once, “Bon, no offense or anything, but I reckon a boyfriend would kinda cramp your style.” I think that’s pretty true. Most of the time I can’t imagine having a boyfriend right now, but sometimes … ahhh.
It just makes me lean on God all the more, patiently wait and pray. I do that a lot. Wait. Pray. Wait. Pray. I don’t just sit there and wait. I live. Learn. Love. Learn to be real. Learn to take risks. Learn to be honest. Learn to live in His promises… in His blessings… in integrity… in His grace.
Peas and love – Beans

| UP How funny is the word UP??
Like... it's hardly a word and U and P just look weird together.
Then... you have this question... what is the meaning for UP?
Someone... please - explain to me ... UP....
What the???
When we wake, why do we wake UP?
At a meeting, why does a topic come UP?
Why do participants speak UP?
And some office bearers come UP for election?
Why it is UP to the secretary to write UP the minutes?
Often a little word is not necessary but we use it anyways...
We brighten UP a room
We light UP a cigarette (if you are Australian, this will surely kill you!*)
We polish UP the silver
Lock UP the house
Fix UP the old car
At other times, it has special meanings...
People stir UP trouble and queue UP for tickets
Work UP an appetite and we think UP an excuse
We get tied UP in traffic and right UP the plumber
To be dressed is one thing, but to be dressed UP is special-er
It may be a bit confusing but a drain must be opened UP
Because it is blocked UP and must be fixed UP
We open UP a shop in the morning and close it UP at night
We seem to be mixed UP about UP
We hang UP the washing and sweep UP the leaves
Put UP with the 'rellies' and break UP the party
After adding UP our finances we may live it UP - maybe.
To be UP on the proper use of UP look UP the word in the dictionary. Listed definitions add UP to about 40.
If you feel UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP can be used. It will take UP a lot of your time but if you don't give UP you may finish UP with 1,000 meanings.
Sometimes there is a stuff UP
Now it is time for me to pack UP
Clam UP
and
to
SHUT UP
*On King William Rd in the city of Adelaide, there is a big sign on a side of a building that says, "Smoking kills Australians... (there's a digital counter here with the number 3689 or something) since 1/1/2003."
Kez and I now walk down the street and tell people that smoking is bad but you can smoke without dying if you aren't Australian.
I'm eating almond bread full on. It's one of my favourite things! Granny and Papa made me a whole tin of the stuff for my birthday and gave it to me the other day. Yummo! (Thankfully, I'm the only person, besides Reub, who likes the stuff in my family - and he's in Ireland!) Horray!

Well, enough of the fun. | My goodness, bon!! O well, your mum's got plenty of other fingers eh? she didn't need that one that she just cut off...! You seem to find joy in the smallest of things... like, hanging stuff on live double adaptors, and sewing your mum's finger on with fishing line... seriously, that's not true is it...? o well...! :kduh: how kewl are this guy's eyes...?!?!?!?!
Anyhoo... not a whole lot else to tell ya bon... except... I GOT WIZZFIZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mate - i haven't had it in so long, i almost forgot how good it was, but then, how could anyone foget how good WizzFizz is...? I don't know if they could. Mate, i'm gonna be psycho for NextGen tonight...!!! *evil laugh*

| :kduh: <-- This guys eyes remind me of Phil Daughtry after 10pm.
FizzWizz is grand! I miss it. I'm gonna have to get me some to last me the plane trip to .... I might send some to Ren in Ireland... she will go psycho too! The Turner Exaggeration
I just have to tell you about this, guys, so that you can discern. I've only just realised the ... severity of this in the last year or two.
It's a "Turner" thing (which is my family's name, if you didn't get that) to exaggerate. First, it was my dad. He likes to stretch the truth. He doesn't it do it to purposely decieve anyone (and indeed, if it were a life decision, he would exaggerate), but adding a little to the truth makes some stories sound stacks better, right?
Then, he married my mum, and the Bible says you turn out like the people you hang around. So, mum caught the ... thing (whatever it is).
Reuben, the first born, eagerly tacks onto this at a young age.
Edwin follows.
Bonnie follows.
Gilbert follows.
Ewan follows.
Reuben marries Renee. Ren cottons on.
This year, both Ren and I realised how big the problem actually is. Integrity (or perhaps lack of...) is something that I've asked God to combat in my life. Each year, I focus on another thing in my life that I want to get better. Integrity was this years.
Many times this year, I've had to go up to people, sometimes yonks after I've spoken to them, refresh their memory on the conversation and ask for forgiveness for my "Turner Exaggeration" taking over. (What an excuse!... What a strong hold to break!)
Okay, so my mum's finger didn't totally come off, it was just a pretty nasty cut. Forgive me.
