Thanks Church Punk... Too bad I don't actually have my own computer, otherwise, that'd work swimmingly. Where's Laputa?
Well so far it's from the 26 - 28 January 2007 and the mystery creek events centre

yeah well, that's probably why i had no idea!

So, what's going on?
Yesterday I handed in my final assignment for the semester.
Next thursday I have my one and only exam - English.
Next friday we go to Sydney (so freaking excited!)
I got a speeding fine. Yuk. It's in the mail. On the way. I can feel it.
Tonight I'm catching up with Kez. All today I've had new ideas for our trip to Sydney. I can't wait to talk to her about them. I'm talking survival kits and treasure hunts, yeah baby!
Fines and bills always come at the most inopportune time, hey. Always!
Well, it's 6pm on friday night, what the heck am I doing at uni!? I'm such a geek.

Hey, guess what! The Australian Socceroos are through to the second round of the FIFA World Cup! My goodness, this is amazing. Australia has NEVER been in a world cup! It's so fun cheering them on, even if they can't hear you. Games are always telecast live from Germany, which means we're always up at 2 and 4 am to catch the games. All the nights I get up early to watch are the mornings I work early, so I just don't sleep. I figure these are the days of my life, I'm going to live on the edge (and sleep away sunny daytimes instead of dark nighttimes and be really on edge with all my housemates so they're scared of me). Small price to pay. Go Aussie!

Yeah! Of course I remember Steven. He freaking gave up his phone just before I left NZ, so I couldn't even tell him I was going or anything and I was so sad. Haydn and Ali, from my church, just came over to visit Erin and Doug for a couple of weeks. Man, I wish I could have gone with them. Anyways, I meant to keep in contact with him, but couldn't. Tell him I said HI back!

In other news, back at uni. Eventful and fun holidays. Currently planning what to do over the summer. Asia? NZ? Parachute? Dad's 60th. Shh. It's a surprise. Gold Coast? Working or holidays? Both? Who knows. I'm also considering a semester abroad next year to a sister uni in Arizona. That'd be nuts.

Must be off. It way to warm in here and I'm going to sleep if I don't get out.

I went to a worship thing aptly named: Undignified. It was awesome. Just danced and praised my little heart out. Glimpses of heaven and I'm really excited.

Church has found a new facility that we can call our very own and quit this set-up-pack-down routine every sunday! Our trial service is in there next week (the building is totally not finished and I can't wait to put my interior design skills to work.... *salivates*) and then we're having a discussion about it and weather we'll commit to the lease and all that jazz. I hope we do. It's exciting.

A girl I know... a sweet, homeschooled, most conservative, purity preacher girl... is pregnant. Funny how things happen like that. Not funny as in ha-ha. But funny as in ha-hmm-what the freak?

Reading a book at the moment that is totally laugh out loud: How to Kill Your Husband (and other handy household hints). Secular and with a few little words but hilarious nonetheless.

Speaking of hilarity, I went and saw the Kiwi film, "Sione's Wedding" on ... I can't remember what day last week. Very funny with a good ending and lots of Kiwi-isms. Made me miss that place.

I hate dancing right... well, I don't mind it in my own little world of worship... but an 8-week dance course as part of my PE subject is not what I call fun. Especially when I and a pal have to create a bush dance and construct and teach it as a lesson to the other people in our class. I'm so unco. It's what I call "yes, of course Bonnie wants to look like dork" with the whole sentence oozing with cynical sarcasm.

I look out above my computer screen (I'm in the library at uni) and see a pin board with the covers of new books tacked to the wall. "Shaking and other non-accidental head injuries in children". What is the world coming too?

I think I might go and book a holiday with my mother. I like my mum. We should go on a holiday to some quaint town and a little cost B&B and go on a wine tasting tour with milo in our flasks cos we hate wine. Still, it's fun to watch the others.

Bye for now.

Well, I doubt anyone besides myself reads my journal. This is okay with me as it reminds me of stuff that I would otherwise forget. This forgetfulness is most likely the result of my blonde hair, but could also be due to the fact that I'm pretty absent minded and crazy most of the time.

Today I'm getting my haircut. I cannot wait. It's going to be good because I haven't had it cut or coloured in ages. It's all grown out and fluffy and just needs to be tamed again. Amazing what a small makeover can do for your esteem.

Speaking of small makeovers, when I was in Sydney in July, we went to this massive marketplace and I noticed that there was quite a few wig shops. I asked one lady if it was common to buy/wear wigs in Sydney. She said it was. Then she invited us to try some on. So we did. I found this awesome one. Long, curly and the exact colour as my own hair. If you didn't know me, you'd think it was real. For $15 bucks, I was like, "Sure, cheap fun!" So, now, sometimes I wear a wig. Ha ha!

I went to Melbourne on the weekend to have an emergency meeting with my boyfriend Ryan. Sometimes, the things that need to be said, cannot be said on the phone or in a message. So, off I went. Called work and said I wont be working (I doubt they were happy with that) arrived on Friday afternoon. In the hour drive it is from the airport to his house, we talked about everything that we needed to talk about and I was wondering why I was expecting it to be a drawn out, long, arguement filled weekend.

My conclusion: he's still the greatest guy I know and I still want to be his wife. Luckily for me, he also wants to make me his wife.

Personally, I can't wait to wear a stunning white dress.

Peace, Bon

Not yet. We still have a few logistics to work out, but hopefully sonner rather than later. But I'm learning to be patient. I tell you what, being so separated is way hard. Thanks for still reading. You're so nice! And hi back to Kim and Steven. Oh, the memories. Makes me miss you guys. It's been like... 18 months... Where does life go?

So, the other day I got an invitation to my friend Jane's wedding in Dunedin in January. Tickets via Brisbane to Christchurch with Virgin Blue are only $560 and I'm so dead keen. I'm busting my gut to save the money I need to get there. Sadly, though, I will not be able to make the stop over to Auckland and I only just remembered Parachute. hmmm. I'll see what I can rustle up. I'm freaken excited.

So... I went to book my tickets to NZ and forgot to include taxes in my budget - an extra $200! So, I couldn't get them. Have to save for a few more weeks and then I can get them. Plus, I need to renew my passport.... $190! I wonder if, when I change my name, I'll have to pay for a whole new one. I'll be asking that in my interview.

Work is giving me the creeps. I really don't need the stress it's giving me, the meanness of the management. There is absolutely no encouragement or anything. It's crazy. So, I'm looking for another job and holding out on my current position until October, when I've been working there for year and earned 4 weeks paid-holiday leave. If I quit after that, I'll get a payout. Woot!

Kez came around last night and we just sat and chatted. It was so so nice.

Last night, I played the most awesome game of netball I've ever played. I was totally attacking the ball and pushing people around and so alert, I surprised myself! We won, so so closely, by one goal. In 2 weeks, we're in the grand final! It's going to be sensational! I think I played so well cos of my new air shoes! No, seriously.

I'm so tired. I think I might have to take a nap in my car in my break between 3 and 4pm. Arg... Such a long day with no breaks. It was one of those mornings when you just could fall right back to sleep. You don't have to even want to, you just go back to sleep. They're amazing mornings and rarely come around. THEN, when they do, it's like - a morning where you've got to get up. For example, today, I don't start classes till 12, so theoretically I could have slept till at least 10, but I had to get up at 7:30 for a breakfast date at 8 and then a study group at 10, which we didn't end up having. Arg!

I could be sleeping...

And then, Peter Brock died on the weekend. He's a Formula 1 race car driver and he died in a car accident. Fitting that both Steve and Peter died doing the things that they loved.

Excellent news would be that Steve had "just had the best month of his life", having become a christian and been baptised. I'm excited about seeing him in heaven!

Well, a guy in my town is mates with a minister in Queensland, at the church where the Irwin family attend. Terri, Steve's wife, has been going for several years and Steve had recently started regular attendance and then become a Christian and been baptised.

My second source is Ryan. He listens to Christian radio in his state all the time. Terri has had a segment on the radio for a while. He learned it from there, before I met the guy here who knew the guy there.

In other news, I think I passed today's PE exam. Praise!
Tomorrow I have a dance presentation. Freak out!

This guy keep trying to get me to come to the same places he is, even though I told him that nothing would ever happen between us, and besides, I have a boyfriend! Hello?!

Anyways, he asked me to go and see his band play this Friday. I made arrangements to go out with my friend, in order to legitimately say I couldn't go see his band. Then, my best friend, who's been trying to make time to spend with me, tells me that her boyfriends band is playing at the same gig.

This puts me in a spot, beacuse she often says that her friends never support her boyfriend and now it seems like I'm doing it again. Girls are so complicated!
