| Things are flat out like nothing else. I was looking forward to a day off from work, to attend my lectures in peace and do some assignments. I was in the shower this morning and Mandy, my supervisor, called me and asked me to work four hours this afternoon! Yeehah!
Actually, you know what, I don't mind it all that much. Work is fun. You just need to do an attitude check every so often. Right now, under God, my priorities are hanging at Tabor and Tabor kids as much as possible and then going to work. Fun and work. That's it. Stuff the assignments. I'd get too sick and probably die if I started shoving them into my life at the moment. So, I'm not going to stress or think about them too much till after the 26th of November when everything crazy is over... hopefully!
I rang my mum and dad tonight. They are fun. Then I started yawning and they went to bed. No brothers were home cept for one who was asleep. It's bible study night you see, so everyone was at that.
This morning, Shannon and Guy, the finalists from Australian Idol, sang AT 6am!!!!!!!!! at a park in town. I didn't know about it till today, but a stack of kids from my course got up at like 4 and went to see them. Talk about stupid. Gimme sleep, baby!
What else? Oh yeah, tomorrow, after I get off work at 12:30pm, I'm gonna go to my Christian History lecture for the first half and then, after signing in our names, Kate, Kez and I are doing a runner and heading into town to the movies and tea, thankyou! I never said attending all my lectures was priority, just hanging with friends FROM my lectures!
Today was mighty Rememberance Day. On ya champs!
It was also Bagus, our YITS sponsor child's 10th b'day! Happy birthday mate!
Have a good night - may the sleep be with you.

| Wahoo! The start of another week. It's Sunday night... 9:26pm. I went to church tonight and looked after the kids. We watched George of the Jungle 2 and yeah, it was pathetic. I had only 3 kids and they were all brothers. It was pretty good for my first time I thought.
My brother, Edwin, FINALLY got to come to my church. Too bad I wasn't there to enjoy it with him, but he did come on his BMW motor bike which I hadn't seen, so that was wicked!
I got home from my courses final 'celebration' camp this after noon and it was fantastic. Chilled and so much fun. We spent a lot of time sharing about the year and remembering everything. So much fun and life in one year. It's incredible! I did my share of crying and laughing. The funniest bit was when Kez snorted back a heap of snot and I was crying and it was so funny I just packed myself. If you ever want an interesting way to die - cry and laugh at the same time! It was crazy. Indescribable... kinda like most of this year. Words are so crap sometimes. Ben was saying this afternoon on our drive home that it's awesome physical stuff like this course that you can't explain in words... really puts into perspective how we can't explain God. I mean, this was just a course. An incredible one. We can't describe it. But God is so much bigger than it... We can never be close to describing him. God is love. That's the biggest understatement of the century!
I just cleaned my room, briefly, for the first time in weeks. Life has been so full on I haven't had time to organise my life. I don't know if I'll have any time for the next 2 weeks to write, but just know that I'll be sure to be living it up.
Keep me in your prayers, and my Encounter team (Kez is in it) - we're doing ministry to a massive week long seniors party type of thing. So much stuff... Farout.
MERRY CHRISTMAS - if I don't come back till then. I love you all!
Sleep...
PS. Love you too Timothy!

| Hi Everyone.
I just wanted to write and say hi to you all. I feel so out of the loop cos I haven't had time to check the happenings of blogs and stuff the last couple of weeks. Now I've got a moment to catch up and it'll probably be the last time till next Thursday.
I'm gonna pray for all of my sweet CGR friends... right now. There. Peace ya'll. You guys rock.

| Some cool... "Bonnie" things...
The other day I got off the train and some chicks, I guess they were about 15, got off and they were talking about CE (Christian Endeavour) Camp and I turned around and said, "Man, I love that camp too." (Which I do, even though I've never been on it.) And then one girl called to another of the girls and her name was Bonnie!
Today, a guy came through my checkout and said, "My motorbike is called Bonnie. It's number plate say: Bonnie 79." So, that was kinda special!
Then, a couple of hours later, Mandy, my supervisor, comes along and goes, "Bonnie did you ring?" No, I didn't, but the chick in the line who I was serving goes, "Is your name Bonnie!? Me too! I was so shocked when she called my name and asked me if I'd rung her!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yesterday, after lecture, Squid, Kez, Bria and I rode lifts for ages. We got off at all floors we could in the Centrelink building - both eastern and western lifts. Some of them were secure. We filled up our water bottles at some fountain and sat on some chairs and Squid and I made up a game with out bottles. Kez was like, "Erm, can we go. This is really embarrasing me" - which is totally un-Kez like, but we left.
Kez left then cos she had to go to the doctors. OH FAROUT! I forgot to ask her today if she was dying or not! How insensitive of me! Arg. Anyways, we went and got boost juice and then we met Ben and his girlfriend Kate at the pool of water/monument in Light Square. We played chasy and then flicked the yukky water at each other, did flips around the poles and made our way into the inner city, where we caught a free bus that dropped us near the skatepark. Which is where we had fun pretending to wizz on trees and then Ben got stuck in the automatic toilets - so much for technology.
We eventually made it to the Torrens River where we were gonna sit and talk, but then we had to keep on walking to the train station. We rode the train to my station and then briefly stopped at my house and Ben's house, which is 2 houses down from mine. I made some of my favourite blender food* and then went to Ben's where we all got in the car and went to Squiddy's house and from there we went to watch the Ben, Squid, Bob, Jordy, Adam and Dave play basketball. They kicked butt and it was awesome.
Jordy supp-ed for them at one point and he's not great at basketball but this one time, he grabbed it and drove it all the way down and scored 2! Our reaction (the team cheer-squad... about 15 of us) was as if Cracked Pots had won! It was so great!
After that was all over, we went to Squiddy's house. Everyone was outside on the trampoline and playing x-box and whatever else. I stayed inside and had heaps nice fellowship with Squiddy's dad... Giant Squid and Mrs Squid. It was awesome. We had so much fun and laughter. I'm honoured to know such wonderful people.
Today I got up, went to lectures, went to Encounter meeting, went to more lectures and then went to workfor 3.5 hours. It's so muggy and hot. Yuk. I'm just so glad tomorrow I get to have a wee sleep in! I'm working again after lectures tomorrow before going to the pub with some Tabor friends.
Encounter Schoolies is only days away. I'm very excited about what God's gonna do. We found out today that we're staying at the Toc-H campsite which is pretty cruddy, but I'm sure we'll make it exciting.
And, yes... I think I've talked enough. Oh! My friend, Stretch (Dave) is getting married on January 10! He got engaged about 2 weeks ago. Farout! I'm so excited.
Oh! And my friend Pete gave me 5 packets of starburst last week before camp as a pay-it-forward thing that we're doing. It was like all my christmases had come at once. I'm going to spend tonight folding up all the wrappers. JOY! JOY!
Yep. I'm s-s-seriously going now. Toodleloo. Arfveedazen. Chow. Ciao. Bye. Tictactae. Yep.
| Newcastle!? That's only like... 3 days drive from my house! Man, they'd be awesome in concert!
Last night, after work finished at 9, Kez picked me up and we went to her house to watch the last half an hour of Australian Idol, which Guy won - horrah!  Then, we went to the pub and sang and danced and drank (water) and had a gay old time! It was awesome. Later, we hung out at Hungry Jacks on west tce with all the deros and it was just a great pre-last day evening with some friends.
Today is our last day. I'm in lecutre at the moment, but not really - obviously. They're doing sport and stuff and it's all hot and I don't want to get yukky. Today is also Penny Lane, where we put all our coins in a long line around the courtyard and the money is going to Bagus, our courses sponsor child who lives in Indo. Today is also wear your school uniform day and so I'm feeling and looking like a bogan. It's fun though. My dress is my orginial one from year 8 that I wore for the next 5 years. So many times I skipped school to go swimming at the beach - it's so so faded! Ah, the memories.
Relient K is not till January (15-17). It's gonna be wicked.
And this will be the last you hear from me for about a week or so. SCHOOLIES ... give it up! I'm so freaking excited about what God's doing. It's gonna be rad!
Peace out homies...  Bon
| My friend, oh dearest,
Beanie, Bonnie Jean,
Have I told you lately,
What you mean to me?
How special you are,
You make me smile,
And fall off of my chair,
When you mention Milo.
Dude, may I say,
You were marvelously made?
You're a God freaking gal,
An ally, a mate.
One final line,
For you, friend of mine,
Girl, you're the greatest,
In Christ's love, Selah! |
Thanks man, the poem is a thank you for the poem that bonnie left in my blog a couple months back... I don't write much poetry, so that took awhile- but it was fun.
