| Okay, so we all know that the Spurs have PLENTY of money. What do you think about waiting until NEXT offseason to try for a great player? Look who is available next season:
Kobe Bryant
Tracy McGrady
Kevin Garnett
Now that the Lakers have proved that 2 superstars CAN win titles, this could be interesting. I think Kobe is developing too much of a look-at-me complex... but still. It could be real interesting. Especially since the support squad in SA is MUCH better than the support in LA. |

Very interesting. If the Spurs got Kobe... wow. Really, who could stop them? They'd have Parker at the point, with Kobe at SG and Duncan in the post. It wouldn't matter if they had a supporting cast, but on top of all that, they would. I hope this doesn't happen, it is scary. |

| Exactly. Duncan and Kobe creates a lot more problems than Shaq and Kobe... because Duncan actually has touch. |

| NO!!! No Kobe Bryant on the Spurs. I'll stop liking them. I despise Kobe.
I think Duncan and Kevin Garnett would be awesome. |

| I have to agree with Travis here. They would be unstoppable, but it would ruin their gentlemen image. I wouldn't mind T-Mac so much, though. |

| sorry guys but thats never gonna happen. Thats a bunch of wishful thinking...lol
Why would Kobe, or any other HUGE superstar want to go to San Antonio? They can make so much more extra money in LA, NY, and other large cities. The marketing oportunities in SA are like crap compared to those in other main cities. Kobe will get paid lots of money to stay in LA, and should, unless something just mind boggling happens. Garnett will most likely get an extension or get traded for a bunch of young stars...like on the Bulls team or something.
I say the Spurs go after O'neal this offseason, because he would help them win another title next season.

| those guys are too stuck on money to want a championship. Kobe already has three. KG will want to do it himself, as with Tmac...

I already hate the Spurs, so Kobe would be a good fit if you ask me.
Another thing to discuss: The Lakers and Mavs have mid level exemptions to use this year. WHo will they use them on?
Sacramento will stay with what they have, unless Keon opts out. |

| Lakers will be going after:
A) PJ Brown
B) Karl Malone
C) Gary Payton
Mavs will be looking many directions:
A) MLE on PJ Brown
B) MLE on Malone
C) S&T for Jermaine O'neal
D) Trading Raef Lafrentz to the Raptors for Antonio Davis and draft pics/cash

| So, what was your favorite game of the playoffs? I think mine would have to be Game 6 against the Lakers. The Spurs played awesome that whole night. But, my favorite quarter was in Game 6 against the Mavs. Kerr and Jackson were on fire. When that quarter started the Mavs led by 13. By the time it was over they had lost by 12. I was just watching the highlights of it on NBA.com, and I got goosebumps all over again. |

| i would have to say Game 1 of the west finals. i mean who expected dallas to win a game? and who thought it wouldve been the first? Game 5 was good to b/c they showed the spurs up. i think that the mavs have real promise now.
o i also liked Game 3 of the west semis between dallas n sac. that game was down to the wire. |
