Here in these parts of the world, a shed is basically just a place to put your lawn equipment and gardening tools for storage. Anything bigger is called a "pole barn" or a "barn" or a "shop." |
Fine, fine, fine its more of a shop. Thats why we have the work benchs. It just sounds more fun to say shed.

And I'm really curious about the mattresses.... It sounds like they did a good job, but how do you go about getting 5 extra mattresses??? Does your family run a summer camp on the side or something :kgrin:

Its 3 matrices and 3 box springs. One of them is suspended above the carpet and 5 of them surround the drums.
Well, lets see....One of them pairs is only a twin bed. This was my sisters bed from when she was in college. Now she is married and doesn't need it. Her husband had an extra queen size matrice and box spring that he asked my mommy to hold for him. Then the last pair was my old queen size matrice. My dad died a year ago this sunday and so I inherited his 2 queen size matrices and box springs. We actually have 2 unused beds upstairs at our house.

Seriously, though, I wish I'd had the wherewithall to do what you guys are doing back when I was in high school. Of course, back then I barely knew how to play guitar, much less anything about recording...

Yeah, 21 and my friend is 19. He's already taken through Audio Engineering 4 in college. I've only taken through Audio 1. He's reall good friends with the head of the department. We've asked his advise on a few things and he's the person we're buying the tape machine from. The professor is like the coolest guy on the planet. He has a home studio and spent the 90s in a signed weirdo, experimental punk rock band. They played shows with The Smashing Pumpkins and were on a comp with them.
