Um, no offense, but K-Max's album was the worst of the three. That's not just my oppinion either, if you look at whose album sold the most, you will see that K-Max and Tait weren't on the charts compared to tobyMac.
And of course, popular means great. I mean, just take a look at Avril Lavigne and Linkin Park! They both must be incredibly awesome, considering how many more CD's they sold than any of the DC Talk members.

Sarcasm aside, I think Tait's first alblum was fantastic. His second alblum was absolutely pathetic. You know why? It's because Pete Stewart wasn't on the second alblum. He's the man, and he's the main reason why the first one was so wonderful. Tait's got a great voice, but he's really not much of a songwriter. I still like him though

I certainly don't have a problem with him "staying out of the limelight", though (wow....an opinion of mine that hasn't changed in a year!). dc talk originated at Liberty University. I understand how Mark wouldn't fit in as an actual member of the group. However, to say that Toby was the one who wrote all the hit songs, or that he wrote most of the songs, is incorrect. Mark was involved in writing many of the dc talk songs.

Dude. You = awesome. Pete Stewart is the difference between Empty and Lose This Life. A majority of Empty was decent, yet Lose This Life just sucked. The first three songs were the best, and they sounded like CCM theme songs.

What exactly is confusing about that? A whole lot of people are in more than one band. Further, Tait knew what he was doing when he formed Tait. He knew that at some point in time Tait would be put on hold so that DC Talk could get back together. How is this confusing in the least?

Well, whoever that guy is, may God bless him and keep him strong! It's absolutely amazing how God has used those guys to produce incredible music that glorifies him.

Empty was a great CD. Lose This Life, from what I've heard, sucks

Who cares if they're nominated for a grammy or not? The Ramones never got a Grammy, yet they were one of the greatest bands of the last few decades.

I suppose it's possible, but it's more than likely just a stereotype pinned on him because of the odd clothes he wears. He is married, by the way... to a woman even.

K-Max's first solo album is far better than anything either of the other two members of DC Talk have put out on their own, and better than a lot of the stuff that DC Talk put out as a group. Anyone who says otherwise is stupid.

In His love,
Nate

Wow. Hadn't heard that. That sucks. Perhaps that's why his "Between The Fence And The Universe" was nowhere near as good as "Stereotype Be". His wife seemed to give him inspiration or something.

Nate
