Question jaci velasquez in a sexy movie?
have you guys seen the movie "Chasing Papi"? i haven't and my fiance haven't... but he has seen a tape... it was recently made... and for some reason he looked at the cover and saw her and her name Jaci Velasquez... he said it's rated PG, but she was dressed sexily.

is it the same jaci we know or a different person who goes by the same name who happens to look a lot like her?

It IS Jaci Velasquez, the CCM music artist. She said she joined the movie to "Witness to those on set", but I honestly think it's hard to witness for God when you're flaunting your body in underwear on set. Right, like that's believable.

Come on partner, this thread is 9 months old. You have to give me more than "So What" for me to know what you're actually quoting. I'm not going to give a Chasing Papi thread a second read through.

Are you saying its okay for a Christian girl to sexually flaunt her body because its the guys fault for lusting?

If Neo-Nazis were getting together to hold a support rally, and payed you to publicly read Mein Kampf in tribute to the great Hitler, and you obliged for the purpose of witnessing to your Nazi employees...that would be a different story. And that's more akin to what miss Jaci did with this film.

I don't know anything about Jaci Velasquez or this movie, but I sought the trailer, and I have to say that I have mixed feelings about whether she was sinning for participating in the movie. I have no issue with women in lingerie in a movie, but in a PG movie where all three women are dressed in lingerie for a man whom they haven't married is quite problematic, especially when Jaci Velasquez has obviously compromised her convictions for evangelistic purposes. I wonder if she ever actually did any evangelism on set.

I also found out that her parents divorced in 2000. I have to wonder if this affected her decision.
