"Ignore" function?

Is there a function to ignore posts made by given users? I've seen this on other boards and wondered if we had it here.

Haha. I don't know that it could work with the quoting of others. And what if someone you are gnoring starts a thread? Can you see the posts by unignored people in that thread, and if so, how will you know what the thread is about? I am pretty sure we don't have one. You are going to have to ignore for yourself, it seems.

The function does exist, but it's not very useful. It may stop PMs from that person though, and that could be helpful.

Ah, I did not know that. But it still leaves their posts up, I assume?

Yeah it it takes the contents out of them, or makes it where you can't see it.

Then of course everyone quotes them and you read it anyway, as you said. So yeah, doesn't do much good other than PM blocking.

It seems like anyone ignoreworthy should be banworthy.

Yeah, I don't see the use of ignoring all posts by a certain user, unless you wanted to do it to Jonathan(AlwaysReforming).

It would seem so wouldn't it..........

Yeah, this function is rather dumb, in my opinion..........
