Pennywhistle

I've decided to take up pennywhistle to satisfy my fascination with Irish folk music. Anybody else play? It's actually a very easy instrument to learn, although I have a feeling that 'playing pennywhistle' and 'being the Chieftains' are two different things

i play. you just have to practice. keep playing a song over and over, then work at adding little trills and such. i have a G, D and C whistle... working on getting an E and A. they're a great addition to praise and worship stuff.

I've decided to acquire an Irish flute, as well, but before I go spend money on one, I'm making one from PVC. I just started today, but my early experiments are going well. By the way, how will you make the holes in the brass tubing?
