well actually if you can record to a WAV file you can get a converter that will convert it to an mp3. i use mmjb personally but there are a fair amount of programs out there that will convert bettween these two formats.

Hey GMartin2R, I just listened to yours...you've got quite the Satriani sound going on there. I like it.

Sounded kind of 80's to me, which is a good thing.

BTW - I listened to all the clips so far. Great job guys! Where are the rest of y'all's clips?

There are not going to be any issues. Like I said in an earlier post. If theres any arguing about submissions being falsified or what not, than the posts will be deleted. This competition is to have fun, if you don't want to participate then don't. I've been listening to the entries so far and they sound great. Keep 'em coming. Spread the word in the other forums.

Well, mine is non-existent because I have no way of recording it, but I'm not much for soloing in any case.

Ok then. Someone might also ask if not original does it have to be a christian band?

Maybe you should get to competitions going one original and one non-original.

Although not a rule maker or enforcer or whatever... I think it's a given that it doesn't have to be a christian band... I mean not all the original solos written for this will have been made in mind of being put into a christian band's song
