| Volleyball is awesome, right there below soccer but anyways, it still rocks. I'm pretty good considering I'm only 5' and can walk under the net without ducking, but I'm very good on the back row, I never played for school cause I was homeschooled but I play at church all the time, just for fun.

| Not to be prideful or anything but sometimes it really bothers me to play at church with people who think they are the best players on earth, but dont know how to play as a team. But most of that is because when you are on a team you have alot of time to learn to work as a team instead of showing off in front of that cute guy/girl that they are trying to impress by not working with the team, but at the same time it is sometimes more relaxing to play at church because nobody is breathing down your neck to win.

| yeah I agree.... it is always hard when your a serious volleyball player to step out and play at church or I struggle alot with gym class cause everyone expects you to block everything and be everywhere all the time... it is stupid. Volleyball is also very much a team sport and if you have 1 weak link the team is bad... but I do enjoy when I get to play with the youth group volleyball because we all grew up together and we are not tryin to impress one another because half of them are already dating someone and who cares... no show off needed......... but I feel your pain |

But what I think is really frusterating, is how stickler about played spots the refs are

| Hey!
This is one blog that I haven't been on yet and it is right up my alley. I am way into sports.
I played volleyball my first semester of college, but had to drop out due to having bronchitis for two months. I also love basketball. I would play on a team if I could but they don't have a female basketball team. It's only for guys. That kind of stinks.
I'm planning to keep tabs on this site.. let's keep this conversation going.

| I love playing various types of volleyball with friends. I'm not a pickup vball fan, though. When you play with friends they don't really care if you mess up. and i agree about the whole team thing. Its so much more fun to play as a group then to try and be a hotshot...

| I love volleyball... at bible college, we had a few too-intense people that weren't all that great anyhow... it was sad. We had a lot of fun, though. |
