I have a cat named Reepicheep (pron. Reeep-eh-cheep), but it makes sense if you've read the Chronicles of Narnia. he's a very cute and wonderful talking mouse (In Narnia, not my cat! lol). lol

I'm not sure if they count as pet names but i came across a couple of race horse names (australian ones) that were pretty funny

Jamaican Odour
Hoof Hearted

I didn't make these up! if u dont get it try saying them out loud

i think it's kinda funny to name a pet the exact opposite of their traits.
like name a lazy cat "pounce" or a really big cat "tiny"

we once had a cat that was mostly black but had a some white over her top lip that looked like a milk mustache so we named her 2%.

For science we had to do some experiments with different animals to see if we could teach it to do anything... Our group got a bird so we named the bird Kitty and we were going to teach it to bark... weird huh

Sort of... we got it to bark a little bit but i don't know if u could really call it a bark... and it would do it whenever... we were suposed to be able to train it on command... I guess a bird is better than some others that some groups got... there were lizards, frogs, snakes, and a spider... those you couldn't really train.. lol

That is very spiffy. I've wanted, for a while, to get a big red Chow and name it Worf. It would be a great security officer. And of course, we can't forget about Spot, the ginger tabby that belonged to Data.

...In real life, i think the weirdest name for a pet that my family has had was a little white rabbit we called Hisenthlay (sp?), from the book "Watership Down".
