The only redeeming quality to the entire tour is Glassjaw.

Life would be of so much higher quality were bands like The Ataris and Goldfinger not around.

I was meaning on starting a thread about the warped tour. I've gone the last two years and certainly plan on going this year. Regardless of what Jared says, the Warped tour is just fun to go to. Its a great environment. Sorry, none of the bands display impressive visuals, but most of them sure do have fun on stage. The crowds are always energetic. Last year at the one I was at people started jumping over baracades to get closer to the stage. The general admission was being limited and people finally started rioting when Real Big Fish, NoFx and Bad REligion came on.

Any particular reason?

Does anybody know the official website address or a good unofficial site on it?

Of course it's ok. It's more than OK. I, personally, prefer to have fun in more redeeming musical environments.

Noooooo!!! The Texas dates fall during the week that my church is doing backyard Bible clubs. I'm filming the clubs and editing the video that week. I can't go.

I was extra disappointed when I learned that Andrew W.K. would be playing the Texas date. I can't imagine Andrew W.K. not being awsome live. Think what you will of his music, he's so much fun.

P.S. I'm not punk elitist or anything. I understand that the tour needs sponser to be able to have so many artists, but their webpage had 31 sponsers on their front page. Doesn't that seem a bit extreme.

"Fun" is usually the result of music made by morons.

Andrew W.K., being the culmination of every moron in history, is like 6,000 barrels of monkeys.
