| I have one of the largest collections of hand drums and hand percussion on the site. I could lay some of that down behind a regular drum track.

We're not doing it for anything but fun anyway, so who cares. I think everyone should continue posting their experimental diddies they're recording and just let people add to them as they wish.

| I'm sure it might pretty much come together after we post a ton of clips and just mess around... |

| That sounds good (Brent's idea)
We need order. Not chaotic posting of clips

| Hey Brent could you throw a bassline on what i posted in post #72? The progression is just the same as 12 bar blues in G.
G G G G C C G G D C G G
(each letter is that chord for 4 beats)
Something funky with slapping or something could be cool... its all yours though. |

Slapping didn't work well with it because it stays on each chord too long for the most part.....and other than that I was feeling uninspired with just G C and D seeing as that's most praise and worship songs ever written.

| Yeah, I find straight I IV V IV hardest to improvise to, unless they're all dominant 7ths... if they're plain jane diatonic, there's no spark.

Anyway if you want i have a better song in the other thread "The biggest thing on CGR since". It's a version of "It is well" that has open room for other ppl to do stuff and it is lacking a bassline. You can find more info, and the song itself on post 52 of that thread. (page 4) |
