| MLB- Opening Day(s) What are ya'lls first impressions of the early '03 season? I'm already more involved with keeping up because of my fantasy teams, and i have always loved watching my home-town favs the Rangers, and they actually beat the defending champion Angel's in the first game of the year, with A-rod going off and our bullpen actually maintaining a lead.
Derek Jeter is hurt, which is bad news for the yanks, but they are a deep team anyway.
Pedro was dominant, but no win

| My boy John Lackey (SP for the Angels) definitely had some opening day jitters. He's from my hometown so I'm kind of a fan. Maddux did bad too. Wow, that Jeter thing was horrible. I'm wondering how they'll do without him and who they will get to replace him, if they'll just get a utility guy off the bench, a minor leaguer, or if they go out and get a free agent or trade in classic Yankee form. |

Serves the Yanks right. Too big a payroll and everyone only likes them because they win....

| Yeah, Bonds got his first HR, and Santiago is bombing away early this year (good thing for my fantasy team)...
Schmidt and Hudson won yesterday , which was also good, but my home team was anihilated, losing TERRIBLY to the angels...ouch--well, at least we have a afternoon game today |

| Giants are doing great so far, and the 'Stros are also doing pretty good. I love the combo of Kent/berkman and Biggio/Bagwell...its great. They got some good young pitching too, something Texas can't say.
Yeah, 11-5, Justin Thompson got rocked |
