| Post your Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe Ok. . . so I might be letting out a big family secret be telling this recipe. Oh well. . . the ancestors will forgive me. Here's mine. . .
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
Mix together
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
3/4 cup Sugar
then add
1 cup Crisco
blend with that
2 eggs
add 1 tsp vanilla extract
In a seperate bowl mix. . .
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 - 1 tsp salt
Gradually add this to the other mixture.
Add chocolate chips. My dad prefers 1/2 cup of chips, my bestfriend likes a ton of chips, whatever toots your boat and floats your horn!!!
Bake at 350 for 10 - 15 minutes until done. Eat warm, that's when they are the best, and with a tall glass of milk!!!

1 tablespoon vanilla
1 1/8 cup all purpose white flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Dash salt (not too much!)
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup oatmeal
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cream the butter until light and fluffy. Add the sugar and cream it into the butter. Add the vanilla and the egg, beat well.
Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix into the butter mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips and oatmeal.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until finished. |
