| ¿My very own blog/journal/thing? Well Ive been reduced to starting a "blog". What an ugly word. It seems this is the way that people get to know people on here. And it also seems like a good place to vent. Most people on here seem helpful and the sort.
Everyone starts their blog off with a description of themselves. I tried to think of something else to start it off with, but this seems to be the best way. I guess people have a reason for doing it this way, eh?
My name is Joel. I play the bass guitar. I am from Northern California. I am currently enrolled in California State University Fresno. I do not like it. Am thinking about dropping. I love music. I am a christian, but I have my doubts about the church. I like cars. Mainly german cars. I am of german heritage. I play soccer a lot but am not on any team. My life consists of work, school, music, and trying to keep up relations. The point of my blog will be to inform you about anything I darn well please. And in return you get to inform me of anything you darn well please.
Today I was on call at work(that consists of staying in my apartment all day). I got out twice, once to go to church(only stayed for worship), and again to go buy a cd(Dead Poetic-Four Wall Blackmail). I highly reccomend the cd. Good stuff. I am extrememly angered by the fact that for my spring break I have to work 40 hours and be on call all week long. I have accute A.D.D. and this does nothing to help the sittuation. Also to add to the flames I bought a '93 Volkswagen Passat off ebay about a month ago. It was one hell of a deal untill two weeks I got it the timing chain broke. This caused the valves to get all messed up and broke a gear I forget the name of. To say the least the engine was done for. And it is going to cost me $2500 to get a new one. The good news is that I get the car back on friday. I dont know how much I will be able to enjoy it with the $2500 debt hanging over my head. Other good news is that this summer my dad is going to let me rally out an old ford escort he got ahold of. This car will probably get destroyed its first time out, but thats half the fun. Maybe take the frustration of the passat out on it. I will be trying to use this spring break(if you would call it that) to decide wether to be cool and stay in school, or not. I feel a strong calling to get out and start getting more into music again. I have fallen out of loop with God and music since The break up of my last band when I left to college. It was a worship band for my youth group. Many things wrong with that church and with that group. But I still wish them the best. Anywho, I'll stop my whinning now.
Peace outside

| Well theres a survey for you. If I cant say bastard on here tell me and I'll change it. Today was another uneventful day. I worked and now I'm on call. My roommate had to go back home, so I have to cover for him. I'm almost getting used to waking up at 7:30am every morning. Getting up that early on your spring break is not something I reccomend though. My roommate and I decided to get a digital video camera. This can be a very dangerous thing. Me and him are willing to do just about anything as long as we can watch it and laugh again and again. I dont think we should have ever been introduced to the idea of filiming anything. You'd be imagined at the things weve done. I wish we could find our tape from the video announcements from my old youth group. Those were good times. Anyways, that is how my day is going. Feel free to ask questions, praise, condemn, whatever you wish.
Peace outside |

| Haha, I like your answer to #85. Skate shops rock, and so does Victoria's Secret ( ). And also the ponytail one, lol. I agree with you there.
As far as video cameras go, we had some fun with video cameras in China. We thought it a bright idea to light sugarcane on fire and toss it from our 5th story balcony, and taped it with the team video camera. Luckily the leaders never saw it.......
Oh, and I have it from the higher ups that, while "bastard" isn't that big of a deal, I would refrain from using it in the future. Just so ya know.

| Awesome man. Video cameras are a great thing. And I will refrain from the use of bastard from now on. And local skate shops are a great thing. I live in fresno right now and there really arent any, but back home there were a few. I think the craziest thing we taped was my friend jumping from the roof of my two story house back home. We showed that in front of the whole church. My parents didnt aprove. Either that or driving shopping carts into curbs at 25-30mph with someone in them. The best were the short films though. With an actual storyline. We did a holy grail one. It was the greatest thing. Anyways thanks for letting me yoink that survey man. |

| Well it has been a while. More misfortune. Tuesday my power got cut because my old roommate owed so much money to pg&e. I tried to get it back on, but I got the run around for three days and ended up having to pay for his debt. $237 down the drain. All the food in my fridge went bad. And three days in the dark. What a week. I also found out that my car that I was supposed to get back today wont be ready untill wednesday because they ordered the wrong gasket. Strike me dead God. ¿Please? I do get this weekend off though. Finally some time away from work. Any ways I havent posted because I havent had power. It's official. I hate pg&e. See you around the boards. |
