ok so if the kissing with the toothpick in my mouth thing doesn't get anyones attention, i don't know what will.

i stayed home from school the last 2 days cause of an ear infection. i'm getting too old for this stuff. no really. my doctor can't believe i'm still getting these.

yeah so anyway i have my Calc AP next week and i don't think i really care.
i'm doing a work project tomorrow for fund raising for DCLA in Cinci this summer. it should be fun.
after that, my friend and i are going to go get his new mandolin, and after that we're having a jam session. good times, for sure.

i don't know what i have to do to get people to post in here. quite the lonely blog, if you ask me.

this was an awesome week!!

i think i did pretty well on my Calculus AP test. it wasn't that hard. so i'm happy about that.

i got back my ACT scores and I got a 33, which i am quite pleased with.

this weekend was prom! it was so fun!
i was in a group with 3 other christian couples. it was so cool to go to a dance and pray for safety before you start with all the couples and all the parents there. we had alot of fun.

we went to a really nice resturant. one of those places where when you order, the waiter says "excellent" or "good choice"
and the waiters laugh at all your jokes!!!
i told a really bad joke and he still laughed and said "excellent sir"
it was alot of fun.
my date completely rocked. shes an awesome girl.
the guys of the group planned alot of cool stuff for the night.

we had a horse carriage ride planned. we were supposed to get picked up after dinner and ride a carriage to prom, but because of bad weather that got cancelled.
that was sad, but we moved on.

after prom, we came out to my house, where the guys of the group had organized a hawaiian post prom party. we sang "kokomo" "comfortable" and "your song" for the girls as they were escorted out by a guy in our group who had a big torch. while we sang, they were given coconut cups with strawberry dacherei(non alchoholic) and those cute little umbrellas.

we had the party room all decorated with tiki kinda stuff, and on the movie screen we had a slideshow of tropical beaches playing. they liked it alot we think.

after that we watched "catch me if you can"
and then went to sleep (in seperate sleeping quarters, of course)

thats my story.

Cool! Sounds like you had lots of fun. LOL @ the waiter. And kissing with a toothpick in your mouth sounds pretty painful.

i have had a nice, uneventful week.
i had my band concert yesterday, it went awesome.

i got to lead a sectional of altos and tenors in choir a couple days ago. it was kinda fun. its also good, cause it helps my chances at getting choir president, which i wouldn't mind being next year.

thats about all the near exciting stories i have for today.

remember to change your underwear daily, cause you never know when you'll get in a car accident.

Man, I want to be able to post at school. WE're not allowed to do anything involving passwords... They flip if you're doing something un-educational anyway.

I like your blog... It's one of the few that are good.

my newest blog feature shall be a countdown to my new guitar. i'm saving up to get a Big Baby Taylor. its gonna be my travel guitar for this summer for DCLA in Cincinati, Lifest (4 day christian rock fest) and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp.

so yeah, i wanna get a big baby. and i think i should be able to get it by June 15. this will require me to work about 12 hours a week around finals and stuff, but i think i can pull it off. i worked 3.5 tonite...and i have 6 scheduled tomorrow. so i'm a little slow this week. but i'll make it up.

don't eat ice cream warm.

well i went to six flags great america today for physics. it rocked. the new ride, Superman, is really really fun. i'm flying......... they tilt you foward so you face ahead with your stomach down.
zero g's on your stomach is the coolest thing.

a few things though.

beer (not that i care) is $6.50 a cup. wow. if you wanted to get smashed, it would cost a good $30. how american is that? it would be illegal for it to cost that much to get drunk in wisconsin. but great america is in illinois, so they get away with it.

i bought a "1/3 pound sirloin bacon cheeseburger, flame broiled to perfection" for $5. i beg to differ. that was not perfection. a little burnt in my opinion. not very juicy. the pickles on it were subpar. the cheese was not melted fully. the bun was slightly stale. now i don't wanna sound like sour grapes (it was a good burger) but thats definately not perfection.

sporks. oh man. don't get me started. why should i, an american, accept a spork as a replacement for a fork and a spoon? NO! i won't! a spork is like a fork, and like a spoon, yes. but it does not perform the designed task of either nearly as well as the real thing. i demand a fork and a spoon.

"Spirited Away" is a lacking movie. since when is being classified as "Anime" an excuse for not having a plot??? we watched this movie on the bus, and it was rot aweful. there is no plot. there is no reason. the storyline doesn't develop at all. my bass clarinet playing friend said it best:
"This movie is a huge success if their goal was to make a terrible movie"
it was painful to watch. and i had just watched Ace Ventura, so it wasn't exactly being compared to a great movie, either. seriously. when a jim carrey movie has an exedingly stronger plot than the compared, something is wrong.

no, i'm not bitter with life. i just like somewhat jokingly mentioning things in the world i find just annoying or strange or whatever.

it was a beautiful day, and i had alot of fun with some good friends.

my choir concert monday went great. we sang quite well i thought.

tonite was music awards night. i got some stuff. nothing i wasn't expecting, but its still cool to get awards. i should clarifiy, its all awards that have been preannounced, except for a couple awards. and i didn't expect those, so yeah.

so what if i'm as sharp as a box of marbles.

i can proudly claim 5 of those to be my own. (and counting, i'm going 2 more times, at least. wisconsin rocks.)

yeah. so its the rare event where someone posts in my blog. in other news, hell has frozen over.

today the worship team clicked quite nicely. we had 2 acoustic guitars, and electric guitar, electric bass, mandolin, drums, and 4 vocalists.
it was definately a musical pleasure, and more so, awesome worship.

i went to the brat fest again today. i ate brats 6-8 for the weekend. have to eat 2 more tomorrow to finish off the job. i can do it.

i played good ol' NES with a friend today. we mixed pina colada's and played Ninja turtles. it rocked.

i had a hardcore music writing time this evening too. i finally have a bridge for a song i've been working on for a long time. it was cool. i prayed that God would give me the music if He wanted it to work, and i got done praying, and it just came together faster than i could write stuff down. God rocks.

i have memorial day parades tomorrow. whoo hoo. i think i'm playing taps at the cemetary. not sure though. i'll find out tomorrow i guess. lucky me.

for those of you afraid to post here...go ahead and do it..i won't tell anyone.
i'll keep it on the low down
down low
no doubt

i did the memorial day band stuff today.
band from 8-2. how cool is that?
it was actually pretty fun.

i played taps. kinda cool, but not when you think about why you're doing it.i was the hidden echo bugle, and if i understand right, the echo represents the fallen comrades.

before the parade, my mouthpiece fell out of my trumpet when i snapped it up for the song. the cement put a huge chip in it, which stinks cause mouthpieces aren't cheap. but also, it made my lip go raw. more than normal playing. quite painful.

after the parade, i hooked up with some friends and went down to the bratfest one last time. my friend and i ate our 10th brats of the weekend together. it rocked.

we then went to the matrix. pretty good movie, not as good as the first, but you couldn't really compare them too much. they were stylistically quite differnet.

so now, here i sit on, i should be doing homework. but i'm not. oh well.

life is short and uncertain. eat desert first.
