Ciao!

| Andy and I were talking about this yesterday actually. My mother hails from Naples as well does my grandmother/nana. My grandfather/papa from Fogia along with all my aunts so they all speak Italian all the time but my mother never taught it to me probably cuz she left before I was one but I still saw/see her all the time. When I go to my grandparents house on sundays for the macho meal there's much yelling in Italian so I've tried to pick it up but sadly I can only pick up the bad stuff. They don't like swear at each other out of anger though so it's weird they do it with a happy tone. It's funny because sometimes my nana thinks I can understand her cuz she forgets I wasn't born in Italy and starts yelling at me like I know what she's saying. All I can make out is the constant in my ear shrill "MANGIA MANGIA!" which gets annoying sometimes. LOL. I think she feels that if she yells it to me I'll understand her better. I've learned though that she's just asking if I want a piece of bread or coffee. haha. Fun times. Maybe I should ask them to teach me? The crazy thing about Italians is it seems they all no each other here. Everyone I meet that's like straight from Italy somewhere down the line knows and is very good friends with my family and friends. It's freaky like one big mafia family. ::shrug::

| Scrivite in italiano, per favore! tute otre lingue sono interdite qui! Capiscite?! Non avete letto i regole?
Seriamente, se voi parlassate invece di dare excusi, voi poterete parlare!
Who cares about mistakes, , solo italiano. Scrivete e io respondero. impararemo insieme.

| Hey guys I've found this little college in San Lorenzo (which is, as I recall, about 50 miles west of Napoli...) where I might go to study the Bible for a little bit next year. I'm really pumped about it and I hope I get in/am able to go. That would be sweet! |

| Plaid child,
You should check out the Waldensian college in Torre Pelice. They were the forrunners of the reformers. I've been by there. It is a totally cool place and in a forgotten about historic location near the border of France and Italy. I think it is just high school, but they do have Italian courses there. Give torre Pelice a search (one or two "l"s, not sure), they have a web site.
travel as much as you can while you're single.
