| This day just found some way to go from quite good to quite crappy. Another of those days where everything I said or did felt like the absolute wrong thing.
The morning was ok. It was really slow at work, and even when someone came in, we didn't have what they wanted. Katy came by around 12, which ended up being one of the only good moments I had all day. I came home and sat for 3 hours, then went back to work. Russ came, and we played the Mortal Kombat game I had rented. I received an angry phone call from my mother after I closed, so I went home and faced another round of the cold shoulder. It's just...yeah. My life doesn't feel so hot right at this second.
The weekend wasn't bad. We had fun Saturday night at Daniel's and Sunday doing whatever. Joey announced Sunday night that Daniel and I will be leading our own small group. That should be interesting at least. I had an hour long conversation last night with Daniel, Andrew, Bryson, and random combinations of the three.
I don't know. This just hasn't been a good night. I really hope something good happens tomorrow.
I just won a $3,000 hand. Things are already looking up.
So long, and goodnight.

| Well, prepare for the highlight of your life. Check out what I found. Here's some more. I'd heard about it coming out soon, but that's all I can remember. Hopefully, we'll see the light in 2006, eh?

And if they made about anyone other than Hal Jordan, I'd launch a massive offensive against DC headquarters.

| Today was an...interesting day.
We had our prep meeting for next week's PGA tournament. I'm so flipping excited. This is one of the few things I have to look forward to every year. I spend 4 days carrying a giant metal sign, walking 5 miles behind usually very grumpy golfers, through freezing cold and pouring rain, usually teeing off between 6:30 and 8, and I love every minute of it.
I spent an unearthly amount of money today. A couple months ago, I decided there were three major things I needed in the next little while: a car, a laptop, and a guitar. I've been searching and saving for all three ever since, and I haven't found a lot. Today, I finally got a break. Morrison Brothers was having a huge Halloween sale. I went this morning, not really expecting much. I found a guitar I fell in love with. It was $1,800, but the guy said he'd take $1,000, including tax and a hard case. It's a Larrivee, which is one of the best brands out there. I asked a ton of questions to a ton of different people, and they all said it was awesome. I played it for a while, acousticly and plugged in, and it sounded amazing. And, considering my current one is broken, I bought it. Well, I put it on layaway, technically. I have to get the rest of the money and go get it on Monday. I'm really excited. Now I can finally play in front of people and not be embarrassed. Huzzah.
And that was my day. I leave you now to go enjoy my extra hour of sleep.
Yet another exciting day in the life of teh Jedi.

| There are a ton things I want to say. I want to say how much I hate people for being selfish. I want to say how much I hate when people die. I want to say how much I hate visitations. But I won't.
Tomorrow is the golf tournament. Yay. I tee of around 11, I believe. Then 6:40 on Friday. That's gonna be the good one. I don't know why, but I just LOVE going off in early like that. w00t.

In other news, Monday was a really, really great day. Mainly because I actually got my guitar. I played for about 4 hours while I was at work. I can't explain how beautiful it truly is. Then we had the fall festival at church. I was the official hay ride announcer. Hooray. Then our group had a party at Brittany and Amy's house, and it was a blast.
Now, the time has come. Yes, it's time for me to begin posting my top 10 lists. Tonight, I shall post the best movies and the best musical artists lists. Enjoy.

| I don't have much time. I've been kidnapped by Russian Nazis and am being held somewhere in the Andes Mountains in southern Brazil. They went out for donuts, and I was able to hack into their wireless network. Please send all the giant monkeys and talking bananas you can find.
Oh wait. That didn't happen to me. Never mind.
My internet died last week. It just kinda stopped working. My parents haven't really done anything about it yet, either. So even though it's freezing outside, I came to Fusion and bought a mocha frappe so I could use the internet. I think I was starting to have witdrawls.
I don't have a lot of time, so I'll give highlights of the past two weeks.
The golf tournament was freaking awesome, as usual. The group on Friday was the best group I've had in my 8 years of working there. One of the guys I had Sunday almost won, falling two strokes short.
Russ and I went to see Good Night & Good Luck last week. Brilliant brilliant movie. It was the second best movie this year, until he and I and Tyler saw Elizabethtown. Orlando Bloom can't act worth a flip, but the story was so great that it overcame him.
I bought a car. 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It's in excellent condition, and I only payed 6,000 for it. I love it so much that it's not even funny.
Katy and I went to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. The show was even better than last year. THEY PLAYED FREAKING ZEPPELIN. Anyway. We ate a t Fratesi's with Blake and Emily and her sister and her date. The food was much better than I expected. Katy and I almost died a few times in the traffic, but thanks to Bailey letting us in, we survived.
I'm trying to be healthier for some reason. I still work out a lot, but now I walk more and drink glasses of orange juice and grape juice every day. I think it's working. I feel great, and think I've lost another 5 or 6 pounds. Huzzah.
That's really all I can think of right now. I hope you all are doing fine.
Yet another exciting day in the life of teh Jedi.

Orlando Bloom can sometimes act worth a flip. Depends on the role.
They played FREAKING ZEPPELIN?? Freaking awesome!!
Hooray for healthier Andrew. *balloons*

Hooray for healthier Andrew. *balloons* | He usually does a decent job, but he always has great actors working with him. Johnny Depp in PotC, Liam Neeson in Kingdom of Heaven, everyone else in LotR. Elizabethtown was his first real solo role, and it wasn't terrible I suppose.
I KNOW! They were playing some really slow blues song, then all of a sudden broke out into Rock N' Roll. It was amazing.
Yeah, that whole healthier thing is going well....*see next post*

| I'm dying. I'm convinced of that now. My doctor today had to make up a new word to describe what is wrong with me. Bronchiotrachylaryngitis. Yes. Some strange combination of bronchitis, trachyitis, and laryngitis. I basically have every upper respitory infection out there. Is it possible to have all that and not be dying? On top of that, the pills I have to take are bigger than my sister. And I have to take two at a time. That's just not nice. Sigh.
Yeah. I've been sick since Friday. Needless to say, this was not a fun weekend. My voice has gone through 3 stages. Sunday, it was very deep and Barry White like. I enjoyed it. Yesterday, it sounded like I had been a chain smoker for 80 years. Today was kinda in between the two. It's been interesting, that's for sure.
I shouldn't complain though. Katy got her wisdom teeth out yesterday. I remember how bad that is, and I know she's a lot worse off than I am.
I'm listening to the Trans Siberian Orchestra Beethoven CD. It's just not the same without the flames, fireworks and showers of sparks.
I think some interesting things happened this weekend. I think we watched a couple movies at Tyler's house or something. I don't really remember much.
My cough medicine has about knocked me out, so I shall leave you with a quote from C.S. Lewis that has helped me tremendously of late. I'm sure someone who reads this can be helped by it. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
"To love at all is to be vulnerable. Love anything, and your heart will certainly be wrung and possibly be broken. If you want to make sure of keeping it intact, you must give your heart to no one, not even to an animal. Wrap it carefully round with hobbies and little luxuries; avoid all entanglements; lock it up safe in the casket or coffin of your selfishness. But in that casket --safe, dark, motionless, airless-- it will change. It will not be broken; it will become unbreakable, impenetrable, irredeemable. The alternative to tragedy, or at least to the risk of tragedy, is damnation. The only place outside of Heaven where you can be perfectly safe from all the dangers and perturbations of love is Hell."
*dies*
