ESPN Commercials

So which are your favorites?

Mine is probably "This Is Spilfantrr" where the Phillie Fanatic is typing for the teleprompter.

I also just saw a new commercial for MLB2003 I think. And it's the Reds at spring training at their field (which I was at last week) and one of the players walks out in boxers and has to climb the outfield fence because Jr. and some of the other guys hung his clothes on the flag pole. I was unable to pay attention to it good though, I was on CGR. Someone else might be able to go a little more in-depth with who it was and stuff

Yeah...the mascot typing on the teleprompter is pretty funny...

However, I just saw one where everyone is running around the office...mascots, personalities, etc...and then one of the anchors gets the e-mail (bagles and donuts in the breakroom) and takes off with them...

LOL!!

The new Reds one with the boxers was great.

I also like the ESPN commercial with the mascot taking a Nascar guys car for a "spin" and one of the ESPN anchors paying him 20$.

I also like the "what would we do without sports" commercials--great stuff.

Yeah, the best thing is that these commercials are clean.

"What would be be w/ out sports"

"Man, I want a rematch!"

"Dude, wait your turn!"

LOL - ESPN rocks.

yeah, at least *most* of the commercials ESPN puts out are clean--except the Coors ones with the "twins"--those bug me big time.

Anybody else like the new Espn Intelligence thing on their main webiste? If you have a high-speed connection its great, cause they have video clips of NBA action and various special segments...its great

Yeah, I like the commercials with the office guys trying to throw the ball onto the shelf.

"The problem is I'm wearing shoes and you're not."

"What? I have a medical condition..."

or after the guy tossed the ball he says "oh yeah, he's stealing bases too"...those guys crack me up--typical workers who love sports but don't want to work...great stuff

Keep 'em coming folks

I like the one with the W.Kentucky Hilltoppers (?) mascot is having to stock the tapes of Sportscenter episodes.

You also gotta love the one where Rich Eisen says "Bling-Bling"

i saw an older one today with Stuart Scott and Pedro, where Pedro is soaking his arm in the fountain-drink machine in the ESPN "cafeteria" and Stu goes and talks to him as if nothing is unusual...funny

Yeah...that's a good one

And I like the one where they are testing for the whole Y2K bug. And the alarm is going off and Charlie Steiner (is that his name) has a tie on his head w/ a baseball bat screaming "Follow Me To Freedom!"

Good stuff

And the one where they do the indoor turf. They are really creative.

oh yes, the turf one where on of the ESPN anchor guys trips momentarily and acts like he's torn an ACL or something...very funny.

The Charlie Steiner one about the Y2K was just awesome. I remember watching it for the first time and just laughing histerically, because they were making so much fun of the Y2K stuff....ahhhh fun stuff...

I'll try and dig up some more commercials...
