| new relient k this cd is mediocre. no good lyrical hooks and it seems that the band was almost afraid to mention God on this cd. also the song arrangments were terrrible. sounds like they just threw together a bunch of b sides and a couple of quick recordings. they also have a new drummer i liked the old one. matt thiesen is a much better songwriter than this album suggests i think the band shouldve took more time to write this album. you dont have to put out a record every year. man i hate bashing rk i love em but this cd stinks. the first two records are awesome, classics in my book but i hope we can all forget about this one. im looking forward to their next record in a couple of years. ill be seeing them in atlanta ga in june i know its gonna rock.

| rk album i don't think they were afraid to mention God, i think it's just that matt wrote more goofy songs and it just kinda happened that way. i think its cool that they made a mostly fun album. some of the goofy songs have "meaning", or whatever you'd say, to them. They had Dave Douglas as the drummer for their last album too, so he's not really all that new to this rK biz. I think he's pretty awesome. i take that back, he's more than awesome or great, he's fantabulous! ok, welll, just more opinions from me...

| Two lefts dont make a right but three do I love this CD! Its amazing.... 10 all the way! I love the songs mood ring, and forward motion. I have listened to this CD a least 50 times, since i bought it (last month), and i cant really find anything bad to say about it, besides the fact that the songs get stuck in your head, but afterall that may not be such a bad thing. I do want to say though i think the songs are more fun and a little less, "Godly" but i love the CD and the Guys anyway!

peace | Dude, I have to say I don't agree with u. I think the mixes and arrangments are awesome on the CD. The songs are alot deeper than I think u realize. All the parts blend together to make an awesome cushion that just envelopes u. And also, the lyrics are awesome on this album. They are so catchy, and I think M@T's colors as a songwriter really shine here.
I really think you should take a bit more time to look at all the songs in depth lyrically and musically, and you will see how amazing this album is, and I betcha you'd be hard pressed to find a punk band that is better talented. |

I would like them to go back to the style of music they used on Anatomy, or switch to emo songs like I am understood.
That doesn't keep their CD from being a 10 though, there are a few things I would change if I were their producers, but overall there are few things that could beat that CD.

| i got this cd yesterday and I've already played it 2 death. its a great album but just doesn't seem to have any tracks that really jump out like on Anatomy.
Saying that, I love mood rings, gibberish and college kids - typical relient silliness!! I think that my favourite track so far is Getting Into You cuz the words are so true and more like the stuff on Anatomy.
Its a good 1 but Anatomy of Tongue in Cheek will always be the bestest best cd these guys did!
check out the free EP, its pretty cool 2! And all thats left 2 say is...thorphilliate stinded yilla billa zay wentora yate paravillintiniay!!!!
LOVE THE SILLY SHOES!! |

| me again!
ok, the reason no particular song jumped out is cuz they are all really gd!! the style has really changed since Anatomy but i don't think its a worse cd for it. its one of those albums u gotta listen 2 a few times and it grows on you!
thanks for ur time

| i'm pretty into emo, not 2 much screaming and stuff 4 me though!! I think that relient K can pull it off well but they r defo. a punk band thru and thru.
I don't have the first album, so 'Anatomy' is my fave! Still, the nu 1 is gd, i like the way they are trying out new stuff, the emo influence is nice but i don't want them 2 lose their relient k funny punkiness! |
