| The Swift is officially the best band ever! Okay, so I may be a little biased...but only a little. I've known the guys (Britt, Mike, Chris, and Trae) for a little over four years, back when they were just a local band in my hometown of Rocky Mount, NC. It's amazing to see how much they've grown, and yet they've stayed true to both their hometown fans and their style. I have to say, I've never met someone who didn't enjoy their music and their wreckless enthusiasm for spreading the message of Christ. I'm not only a fan, but a friend, and their dedication to the ministry is inspirational. This is without a shadow of a doubt my favorite CD, because of the mix of fun and function. They get the job done, and with the way the record is climbing the charts, it's obvious that the rest of America thinks so, too. Liz Massingill

| I had heard a lot of people talking about this band, but hadn't heard any of their music. Fortunatley, the fact that I could buy their CD and get the latest sampler CD from HearItFirst.com made me look more into this band. I don't know what I've been missing! These guys are awesome! Upbeat piano-based rock with an awesome message. Even their cover of Keith Green's Soften Your Heart is awesome! Few people can do a Keith Green song so well that it sounds just as good as the original. This is one exception. These guys state that Keith Green is their main influence, which is quite obvious from this CD. Awesome music, great sound, definitely a great band. I don't know why more stations aren't playing these guys! |

| the swift gets a nine. they're positively an amazing band- lyrically, musically, and live.
i'd give them a 10 but i don't like 'soften your heart'... a little too keith greenish.

| I got to go to a concert that they did. It was awesome. I think Moshing Machine is pretty funny, and I love Wake Up. I really like all the piano stuff. It's kinda funny to watch him pound on those keys... |

| I don't mean to brag, but I will. I helped Britt write Moshing Machine. In fact, I've got the original demo for it with just him and piano. I co-wrote the lyrics in the bridge. The "Mr. Green Hair" and the "love your shoes but when they're breaking pews" lines are mine. Britt and Trae helped me record some songs I wrote before they moved to Nashville. They aren't as good as The Swift however.
They have a new CD coming out too. Tentative release is sometime in July. |
