Bringing Down the House

I just got back from seeing Bringing Down the House with Queen Latifah and Steve Martin. It was very funny. Definately worth seeing if you want to laugh! It also touched on some issues of ethnocentrism through the absurdities, especially through the old lady. So all in all, it was a little cheesey, but it was worth my $6.50

[Note: I certainly don't condone trying to get old ladies stoned or anything like that, but not much of the movie was realistic anyway!]

I really like Steve Martin. I'll probably go see this.

Funny, if I slapped my momma, it wouldn't be a funny situation at all. I'd probably get slapped...repeatedly.

I saw the movie with my parents, so I was too busy squirming with embarassment and discomfort the whole time to really remember if I personally liked the movie or not. It's probably not one to see with your parents. I'll have to see it again with some friends, in order to really be able to apreciate/dislike the movie.
