| We were there with my mom on business, but stopped in to see some old friends who live in Bobcaygen. THAT place is even worse than Peterborough. Just about everyone there is over the age of 50. Nice place, though. Hahahah it was so funny... we were driving down this deserted street to find our friend's house... and we saw a sign for "Lawn Bowling" mounted to a gate surrounding a deserted yard. We laughed and visualized all the old people out for their Saturday night lawn bowling thrills. After all, it must be the only thing to do in Bobcaygen.
hah.
Sorry... this is so off topic.

Peteborough! My grandparents live there! Were you visiting your grandparents? Were you? WERE YOU? I swear, that place is 90% old people, 10% everything else. | Narnia's a retirement haven... the young people go to school and then leave never to return. It's bad.
The only jobs are at the Chemical Plants or the call centres. Everything else is based around those two industries... And with the majority of staff at the plants being aging baby boomers, retirement's going to come soon for a lot of people.

#79 | | Cool enough Administrator | Sounds kinda like here. I'm the only person in this town within three years of my age. Four years, actually. It's... depressing sometimes. There's lots of people with kids... the kids get out of High School and leave... then nobody moves back in unless they are middle age. My brother's family being the exception. |
