I'm confused, Samickman, how can you be shooting 30s and 40s (which I assumed was for 9 holes), but get 120s for 18 holes?
I shoot in the 30's and low 40's now, I'm a senior, I said I was shooting in the 120's for 18 my freshman year. I believe someone earlier said they were 13, and said they were in the hundreds. So I used my scores as an example to show them to give it time and your get better and not really expect it. I gradually improved, my first official 18 hole score my freshman year was 113, I think, this year, we started with an 18 hole invitational, and I tied for 5th with a 78. Pretty good I thought.

I hope that cleared things up for you!

Yes... thank you. I can't wait until I can shoot below 100!

It'll come, I took to the game very well. So I don't like to compare me to other people. Just remember, I think I did more praying on a golf course than in church. IT seems like anyway. Golf is a great sport, you can be a lone with god and still be having a lot of fun.

And remember, this is Gods earth, so replace your divots.

Golf is awesome...I use to shoot over 100, but after a few years i've gotten better, and can now shoot in the low 90's or high 80's. This summer i'll have to get out there and shake off the dirt that has accumulated on my game. I haven't hit a golf ball in about 2-3 months.

Great sports, but can't compare to track and field

Yeah I played on the golf tema this year (I was a freshman) and my first match was 18 holes which I wasn't expecting and I got like 161. It was such a terrible start. But I got better as the season went on and I'm still not excellent but it's fun. I like playing for the team b/c at my school we didn't practice like everyday and we weren't too good but we were out just to have fun. And that's what I do best on the golf course. yeah one time the two other schools we were playing against switched the course with out telling us so we got to play a round with just our team. That was fun. On one hole where there are woods to the left and a pond to the right that's up a few yards I shot the ball up high to a tree maybe 50 yards away and it came back a went right into the pond. That was funny. And there have been times when I hit a tree and the ball comes back past me so I'm farther away on my next shot- if I'm in the right mood it's funny, but not always...

I play quite a bit, but not as much as I used to, cause my dad blew out a disc in his lower back, so he can't play, and I don't get to go as much as I used to, but it's all good.
