| Catholic Forum Guidlines Hi folks, and welcome to the Catholic forum, a place for all CGR Catholics and those curious about us to read, post, and be in communion with one another. To ensure that this runs smoothly, here are some basic guidelines:
1. Please keep everything Catholic centered. No off topic posts please...there are probably specific forums for those. Topics dealing with the Catholic faith, Catholics in the world, sacraments, etc. would be legit topics.
2. NO theology debates . This is the tricky one. It is fine to ask for clarification on a doctrine, but it is not fine for anyone to come in here and debate the Real Presence in the Eucharist. If a non-catholic asks about the real presence, a Catholic can fill them in, but it can't turn in to a debate. If it does, one of your friendly mods will whoosh it off to Theology where it belongs. Doctrinal debates between Catholics, such as the Apparitions of Mary, however, is fine.
3 No Catholic flaming . Under no circumstances will a post like "catholics aren't christians because they worship statues" (We don't FYI ) be tolerated. A post making a blatant accusation (and probably false) against us will be either deleted or sent on to another forum.
4 Be Supportive . We are here to lift one another up. Let's remember that, and treat each other like the brothers and sisters in Christ that we are
As always, all rules of the boards apply, such as no foul langauge, ad hominem attacts, etc. But we won't have a problem with those, will we?
Your forum mods,
2Man Army and SCCHarpGirl

| That's funny...
Why is it that posts flaming Catholics won't be tolerated, but posts flaming non-Catholics are tolerated (and may I say even congratulated in some situations)???
Sounds a bit hypocritical and arrogant to me! But I won't say more on the subject, in case I get into a Catholic-flaming mood and get my post deleted. |

(for all you who were wondering where I was, now you know). It just came to my attention today, and as soon as it did, I took action.

| Yeah, and for some reason, I didn't even see it. We are asking for charity. Among both the Catholics and Protestants in this forum.

I, myself, was banned in less than 3 hours for trying to explain (not convert) the Catholic viewpoint.

| For the record:
a. I no longer participate in this forum.
b. I am no longer Christian
c. I was merely making a point of hypocrisy in the way things were at the time. The problem that sparked my posting in this thread as above has long been dealt with. I am glad to say ICTHUS and I are buddies again and no longer do we have to fight about petty issues from the past.
Have fun

'Shady | Hey Sean, welcome back to the Catholic forum again!

Your forum mods,
2Man Army and SCCHarpGirl | Accept my greeting. Hope your doing fine there. By the way I'm John Angelo from Philippines a land whose spirit was sculptured by the Magnificience of Catholicsim . Is name too saintly, obviously you would say yes, actually it was derived from St. John and an Angel but it was the farthest side of my real personality. I'm a poem lover as also the same as a nature lover. I like reading books too. If something you can share and you think I'm on you can count on me alright? |
