Wanted: lead/rythm guitar near Anchorage, AK

Looking for lead and/or rythm guitar players for church band in Peters Creek, AK.

We play mostly contemporary Christian. i.e. Every move i make, Days of elijah, etc. Third Day, Sonic Flood, Hillsongs.

Some hymns mixed in, but usually played with the full band.

The band in currently: drums, bass, keys and three vocals.

That's cool, too bad this will probably get moved to the regional forum, that's what that's for.

I don't live in Alaska, but if you go to the regional forum, you can see who does

What's up with "Days of Elijah"? I mean really...that song truly sucks eggs.

Anyway...good luck finding people. Is this for a church or something?

Haha. A good friend of mine kept telling me how great a song this was, and when I finally heard it, I was quite dissappointed, as well.

Unfortunately, I'm the Youth Leader for my church, or I would come chilly chill with you.

WELS, ELCA, LCMS?

ELCA.

Similar boat. I'm the only one with any sound experience and the church is still small right now.

I could, but I don't have my license yet. And I don't know how I would get to Peter's Creek. I'm way up Flattop, so It would take me forever to get there too.

It's a shame....

that's a shame... i wish i'd seen that earlier... regardless, a friend of mine and myself are two guitarists (he's lead; i'm rhythm) and we're actually looking for a drummer or a bassist (with your own equipment, please ^_^) who would be able to hang out sunday mornings/early afternoon who's just looking for people to jam with, you know, impromptu.... we play at his place, in eagle river, just off eagle river rd, like you're heading towards wal-mart... if ANYBODY is interested, give me a hollar (email is aumguitarist07@yahoo.com).... ALMOST any style of music... thanks!
