| You can check out The Accident Experiment at www.theaccidentexperiment.net. But, for the person who said that their lyrics were . . . innapropriate . . . I believe you were referring to Sprung Monkey, not The Accident Experiment. They are not the same band. The drummer and bassist for Sprung Monkey play in AX, as a side project. Pete Stewart writes all the lyrics for AX, and he's a Christian, so you can expect them to be appropriate, though not carrying a Christian message. At their site, you can listen to a radio interview with the band, and hear two tracks off their forthcoming album. |

| I seriously doubt The Accident Experiment will ever be the next MTV hit. They aren't pop. They aren't in it to be popular, or to make money, they're in it because they love music. Please don't assume that just because a Christian decides to play in / form a secular band, that he's somehow less strong in his faith because of this.
And secondly, Grammatrain never remotely "got in MTV spotlight." The biggest mainstream success Pete Stewart ever achieved was when "Better Off," a song from his solo album, was played on Dawson's Creek. But then again, perhaps you were speaking of POD / Marcos there. In that case, please forgive my stupidity. |

One sentence you're talking about grammtrain, and the next you're saying something that could debatebly be for either band, POD or Grammatrain.

| Here's my take:
No one is perfect. I like what POD does, but I don't expect them to be perfect. I certainly don't look up to them as role models.
Its obvious Marcos is bitter and is acting like a little kid by saying all that stuff. Whether its true or, it doesn't matter. If he was a man he'd suck it up and stay quiet. Its obvious his intentions are elsewhere than being a gung-hoe Bible thumper.
Because he was busy riding the fame and success of POD he wasn't about to grow a conscience and say "I'm not a sold out Christian, and I don't need to be pretending I am a sold out Christian by staying in this band," so instead he let it bundle up until this happened.
I have no respect for Marcos because of his actions. Not because he's an overrated guitar player, not because he's a "bad" Christian, but because he acted like a baby.
I liked the new song, and I'm sure POD will still sound very similar. Their record company wouldn't have it any other way .

| Amen, Ryan. Marcos is an awesome guitarist, but he needs to get his priorities straight. All we can do is pray.
Peace.
