Here's some summary... Marcos was upset, because he was fired over the phone by the manager, and not in person, or by the band. He was upset that they had plotted his firing behind his back (ie they already had someone lined up to take his place). He mentioned that he was tired of being two faced, and eluded to them being christians on stage, and partiers afterward. He used a naughty word that starts with s a couple of times. He also said that he thinks that part of why he got fired was for doing a side project with non christians.

Atlantic and POD, of course, had no comment.

It is sad to hear. 4 bro's that have had a big influence on my faith (and playin' ) tearin eachother up. I mean if you listen to LIVE they are so sincere. THere music undoutibly states Christ. Some freinds are anti POD. I enjoy there music and will continue to listen to everything befor FEOS no matter what happens. It like someone said could (and probly is ) MTV hyp but still....

peace y'all

Wow......I'm speechless (yet I kinda think I'll go ahead and type some more.... ).......

Marcos was told that he needs to prioritize where he's at with God....and he says the other guys are tripping? What's that mean? IMO, it either means Traa, Noah, and Sonny ARE tripping, OR Marcos is tripping....And then this:

Quote:
Curiel said P.O.D.'s problems with him are evident in the fact that he has been replaced by Jason Truby, former guitarist for Christian metal band Living Sacrifice.

"That was always an issue with them," Curiel said. "It should have never been about that. It should have been about the music."
What the heck? What's the "issue"? Marcos was/is/probably is/whatever a Christian, right? Then what's the problem with replacing him with a Christian? And Marcos is talking like music is No. 1 in his life...Which leads me to my opinion that Marcos is probably the one tripping....

Quote:
"I hate that. That's one of the main differences we had is philosophy. They're putting that out because they know their market and they know what kids are going to say about all that."
Well....Maybe the other three knew the market more. They've gotta act "partially normal" to the nonChristian kids if they wanna get attention. Then they gotta act "partially Christian" for it to be noticed by the kids that they're different. That way it'll lead to more Christian bands being listened too. That's good, the last time I checked (of course that's if they don't sin).

Quote:
Then I found out they had another guitar player already. I was like, 'Whoa.' They've been plotting this for a long time."
Oh riiiiight. I'm not gonna come up and tell a member (and it's not a keyboardist.....How vital is a keyboardist to P.O.D. compared to a guitarist?) to leave and then have no idea for another guitarist? Of course I'd wanna have a guitarist who would be able to play for the band immediately....

Anyways....Yeah, I'm obviously not speecless anymore.

Y'know, I was thinking (suprising, I know) about this a few days ago, and I was like "The only credible point Marcos has is that management told Marcos that he's not part of the band anymore"....I mean, what were Sonny, Traa, and Wuv thinking?

Question jason truby

so does anyone think with jason taking marcos' spot that POD will once again be a heavy band like in the past, say southtown days or even brown days? Or better yet do you think their music will reflect Christ more than the last album did? anywho, i personally think marcos had it coming he brought it upon himself so he can just cry in the dark.
later,
kody

I kinda think the message won't change. I mean, a guitarist isn't going to send a message (through his guitar). Sonny does that.

I think it will. Not just the CD that a band has that reflects their message. It is rumored that Jason was really bold about his faith in interviews and such, so I think that this is excellent for the band.

Hmmm, yeah, you're right. I was just thinking of lyrics, not interviews and stuff. Ardent, you've done it again, you've changed my opinion.
