That's a really cool idea. I think I'll bring it up to our group.

We have talked about several things, but we have hammered out one: an awareness and benefit concert in Cincinnati. Our local musician has several good contacts - she just recently stayed with Michael W. Smith and family - so she's going to get Leeland and Everyday Sunday to play music. I've contacted Love146 about a speaker for that night. And I'll get the short movie together to play on that night. We're planning around summer 2010.

We are also planning "mini-awareness nights" where we invite people to come to an apartment complex that our church planter guy lives at - it has a movie theater inside of it - where we show a movie and talk about human trafficking.

So, it's going pretty well.

7:00 a.m.

2. How do you like your steak?
Medium-well.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?
I haven't seen a movie since before the summer. I guess Watchmen would be the last one.

4. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Estes Park, Colorado

5. What did you have for breakfast?
A couple of Hostess powdered sugar donettes at the church because we have a clean the church day. Okay, more than a couple.

6. What is your favorite cuisine?
Italian.

7. What foods do you dislike?
avocado and guac, mushrooms, grilled onions, the list could go on and on.

8. Favorite place to eat?
Chipotle or Smashburger.

9. Favorite dressing?
Olive Garden's dressing.

10.What kind of vehicle do you drive?
1997 Pontiac Grand Am.

11. What are your favorite clothes?
My Colorado Avalanche sweatshirts and shirts.

12. Where would you visit if you had the chance?
The moon.

13. Cup 1/2 empty or 1/2 full?
probably 1/2 empty, although I'm trying to improve in that area.

14. Where would you want to retire?
Estes Park, Colorado or Balboa Island, CA.

15. Favorite time of day?
early in the morning, which is funny for me because a year ago I wasn't a morning person. Or 6-9 p.m., because I'm spending time with the family.

16. Where were you born?
Aurora, CO. In an army hospital that is now a university medical center.

17. What is your favorite sport to watch?
Hockey. By far.

18. Who do you think will not tag you back?
...........................................

19. Person you expect to tag you back first?
............................................

20. Who are you most curious about their responses to this?
Nobody really.

21. Bird watcher?
Yes. We have a family of cardinals and some yellow finches in the trees of our backyard.

22. Are you a morning person or a night person?
For 37 years of existence, it was night. Now, it's morning.

23. Do you have any pets?
One ragdoll cat named Zoe, age three. One border collie mutt named Minnie Moo, age two.

24. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share?
Not really.

25. What did you want to be when you were little?
Don't really remember.

26. What is your best childhood memory?
Hanging out with my friends in elementary and junior high. I had some great friends.

Both.

28. Are you married?
Yes

29. Always wear your seat belt?
Yes.

30. Been in a car accident?
I had my first one last summer where I was actually driving. Which is why I now drive a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am.

31. Any pet peeves?
Most of them involve driving. Or pronouncing words incorrectly - like "supposebly" instead of "supposedly", "expecially" instead of "especially."

32. Favorite pizza toppings?
Pepperoni.

33. Favorite Flower?
I don't know. I like the flowers we planted this year around our yard, though.

34. Favorite ice cream?
Cookies and Cream.

35. Favorite fast food restaurant?

One of my worship team members.

38. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?
The Apple Store.

39. Do anything spontaneous lately?
Always.

40. Like your job?
Yes, I do. I feel on track for the first time in years. I love the senior minister I'm working for, which is something I haven't been able to say in a long time. The responsibilities keep piling up - I'm now in charge of all of our "plug-in" activities (welcome ministry/communion/chair setup/etc.), and I just started a media team - so I'm really busy. But I love what I do.

Hello!

I've been crazy busy lately. And it's only going to get worse since Christmas is coming soon!

'tis the season.

At my age, time passes so quickly, I can hardly keep up. Only a couple weeks until Advent. I almost missed taking care of that. Yikes!

I kept falling asleep durning the football game last night. Last I saw, Denver was whooping the Steeler's rear ends. Who was the famous football player that Denver used to have? I knew him but I forget now.

John Elway?

I was at the University of Dayton listening to Benjamin Skinner, who wrote A Crime So Monstrous (about human slavery), and it was amazing. Much better than watching the Broncos lose.

I'm off this whole week, which is great because I worked about 70 hours this past week with our Christmas production and preparing for Christmas services and everything.

So I'll be out. Not that I'm really in these days. But I really will be out.
