| NCAA football or NFL? Which do you like to watch better or which do you think is more competitive?
for me, it's NCAA all the way. college football isn't about the money or fame. not that every NFL player is playing *just* for the cash, but it's hard to turn down millions of dollars. plus, with college football you're attatched to your school.. it's just so much more fun in my opinion.

| I like NFL because it has players (and coaches) that I can keep up with and follow for years. Personalities that you can keep up with is a huge plus to me. Also the level of play is higher in the NFL obviously which contributes as well. I find NCAA to be boring, sparing a lot of the last minute finshes they have. Other than that, it doesn't do anything for me. |

Not that they're totally disregarding their schools, but I think their future draft spot is also a huge part of what they're thinking about. |

| NCAA all the way. I agree, it's more about the skill and striving to win. NFL is just too cocky. I can sit and watch college football because it seems like there is more action to be honest....

| I like them both. The NFL certainly offers the higher skill level. |

| Which was more exciting, The Super Bore, err....I mean Bowl, or The National Championship Game?
Plus with 117 teams in the college football, there's always something happening.
The only thing I really like about the NFL is it's playoff system. |

| College is way better than the No Fun League because of one major reason... TRADITION. The best the NFL can do as far as tradition is the Packers-Bears yearly Bears loss. Also the fact that the players are more localized in college really helps (at least in Texas). But the above all most important reason NCAA kicks pro butt, THE OPTION! |

| I definitely have to say NFL...I can't follow college football like I can follow my Bills...and Doug Flutie...

But last year, you had a great Super Bowl with the Patriots and Rams, and a cruddy national championship game, with Nebraska (a team who shouldn't have been there, it should have been Oregon, or Colorado) getting whipped by Miami.

| I think I understand the easier to follow thing... it is easier to keep up with 32 teams than 116. Or whatever the numbers are. Anyhow, I'm about to decide which is better, because I already have NCAA Football 2003 for my gamecube, and I just got Madden 2003. (I can export/import draft classes! How fun!) So, I'll give you the final word. |

The only subplots NCAA has are school rivalries and deals where players missed exams or were out drinking after curfew or something. Admit it, Randy Moss may act like an idiot but it's sure fun to follow his personality. In NFL the personalities of prominent players are focused on just as much as the game, which to me makes it much more interesting. You also have trades, offseason free agents acquisitions, and team salary caps. It's just much more deeper and interesting than NCAA. |

The NFL personalities are great...

| In certain situations, NFL is better to watch, and in others, NCAA is better.
i LOVE the playoffs of the NFL, and I think they are one of the best national sports playoffs.
NCAA bowl games are fun to watch, as well.
The key for me to NCAA football is having a team to keep track of. I could care less of North Iowa St. makes it to a bowl game, but if its a team within Texas or Notre Dame then i'll watch....

| college football all the way! there is so much pride and tradition involved when you are rooting for your school. it is just exciting, and you get to sit and argue about what school is better and all that good stuff.
i would be interested to see how many of you guys have been to college. i would think that those who have been to college would be more likely to say that college football is more fun. when you have gone to a school and become a part of the whole college football atmosphere, i believe it definately affects your view of the NFL and college football |
